Boston police investigated four shootings in the city during the early-morning hours on Saturday, including two that proved to be fatal.
Boston police Commissioner William Evans said some of the shootings were connected to late-night parties associated with the city's annual Caribbean Carnival Day.
"I think at least three of these shootings were tied into the parties," Evans told WCVB.
One of the fatal shootings took place outside a 7-11 convenience store in Jamaica Plain where officers said a man in his wheelchair was shot and killed.
