U.S. Media Apoplectic Because Donald Trump Meeting Pena Neito Privately – *Update* Live Stream Added… (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2016/08/31/u-s-media-apoplectic-because-donald-trump-meeting-pena-neito-privately/)

There’s something genuinely hilarious to see the U.S. media having fits of pearl-clutching outrage because candidate Donald Trump is having a private meeting with Mexican President Peña Neito without them.
Yet the same U.S. Pravda media ignore candidate Hillary Clinton’s 270+ days without any press conference.

@brianstelter (https://twitter.com/brianstelter) Trump not having press on this trip is an abomination. And you should be as upset about it as you are about no press conf.

Look at Hillary... LOL... "That's not how it works"
In Cincy, Hillary Clinton says Donald Trump's Mexico visit shows he can't lead overseas
Donald Trump's visit to Mexico Wednesday serves as an example of the way a Trump presidency would undermine the U.S.'s leadership as an "exceptional" nation, Hillary Clinton told veterans Wednesday.
Clinton criticized Trump for "trying to make up for a year of insults and insinuations by dropping in on our neighbors for a few hours and then flying home again," as her Republican opponent headed to Mexico to test his diplomatic prowess in a visit with the country's president.
Trump has criticized some Mexican immigrants who are living in the U.S. illegally, and his signature campaign issue is his pledge to build a wall on the U.S. border with Mexico and persuade Mexico to pay for it.
"That's not how it works," Clinton said of diplomacy and international leadership.

This was a home run for Trump.
The Mexican president expressed his concern
about US weapons being smuggled into
Mexico (what's say? Eric Holder?).
Trump allowed this saving of face, which
shows Trump to be a superb
statesman - magnanimous
in his approach but steadfast and
firm at the same time.
This will allow Mexico to share in
the cost of the wall without seeming
to having been bullied into it - Mexico
will get a benefit also by stopping
illegal US weapons from flooding
into Mexico.
Trump is acting like a president, and
a good one at that.

You have to admit, Trump has a set of balls. No nominee has ever affected the world like Trump has before even becoming president. Meeting with a world leader like this was historic.
To the Trump haters, another way you can look it, whatever Trump does, Trump is the only answer to hanging onto what's left of our country. In 4 years maybe someone else will stand up more to your liking to save you. After this election the Clinton's will be gone for good! Good riddance!

Lew Rockwell brings up a good point.
Why Didn’t Hillary Go to Mexico?
She’s courting Mexicans and Mexican-Americans. Why not gain all the positive Mexican media attention from such a trip? She was invited, along with Trump. Maybe she still will, but if not, could the thin and polluted air of Mexico City pose a health danger to her? At the very least, a danger of huge embarrassment?

I think Donald is leaning forward to get closer to Nieto's stature. This is different than Obama bowing to the Saudi Prince. I think he only wins by making this visit. If he becomes President, next time Nieto will be flying up to the US.

You're missing the message. The upper hand is Trump's, palm facing up, Nieto is drawn in, reassured that Trump views him as being important, someone Nieto can trust because of that simple gesture of deference. Trump's is the position of strength, being shared with Nieto.
