Probably because Amazon is in the process of building it's own shipping service as well.
Amazon is starting its own shipping business

They deliver on Sunday all the time, but it's Prime orders, not flea bay.

In many rural zip codes, USPS is much better than UPS or FEDEX. Mine has a couple of conscientious White women running it and they do a fantastic job. Larger post offices often have a negro in charge and mail service is a disaster.

Exactly the same situation here. I get exceptional service. With UPS whatever I get the boxes are trashed, Fedex much better but no comparison to USPS.

So much for the Libertarian argument that a private company will operate with much more efficiency than a govmint agency. UPS in Missoula is terrible. They have special weird hours and you better call first or they will tell you "We only accept packages between 3 PM and 6PM" or something like that.

Get rid of the red tape that FedEx, UPS and others have lobbied for and quality of service will go up when they have to compete with small and hungry businesses jockeying for business.
A private company will ALWAYS be more efficient than a government run one for the sole reason of competition. We have zero competition. Haven't you noticed we really only have a handful of companies in any sector be they services, manufacturing, technology, shipping etc.? They got big and lobbied hurdles into place to keep themselves at the top. It's been that way since the days of the industrial revolution. It will always be that way until we can remove business influence from government.

USPS provides the best service to us consistently. And we get a lot of parcels. FedEx is a close second. UPS? LOL.
UPS does the same shit here: open at their convenience.

We have two "small and hungry businesses" competing with FedEx, UPS, and USPS here: OnTrac, and Golden State Overnight. GSO is pretty good, but OnTrac is usually OffTrac. Utterly destroyed packages, packages left "elsewhere" without hope of finding out where, and slobs that couldn't care less delivering them.
Remove the Niggers and Wiggers from the USPS, and we'd have a second-to-none postal system.

I've noticed that amazon takes its time delivering items now. (up to two weeks) I think they are trying to get more prime members.
I've started buying from the bay more now... faster, better shipping times.

Amazon intentionally sits on "Free Delivery" orders for a week before shipping. I prefer USPS delivery over UPS so plan for that delay.
