Another unarmed black guy shot. Is ordered to show his hands. His hands are in the air. He is walking toward his car. One cop hits him with the taser. What do you do when tased? Why, drop your hands. Female officer then blows him away. He didn't follow orders to keep his hands shown.

You know when you are getting tased you aren't really interested in following orders? Well, it is not really that you aren't interested but you lose control of your muscles.

Just thought you might want to know. In case you ever get tased be sure to keep your hands in sight. Maybe ask your local law enforcement for a practice run? Doesn't hurt to be prepared (or does it?).

Perhaps if you handed the cop this flyer first to educate him on the dangers of arc flash?

https://www.osha.gov/dte/grant_materials/fy07/sh-16615-07/arc_flash_handout.pdf

OSHA is intended to protect the worker. If he has not been informed of the dangers intrinsic with high voltage then I would classify his employer at fault and the cop is at risk.

Understanding the Arc Flash Warning Labels
Each piece of equipment operating at 50 volts or more and not put into a deenergized state
must be evaluated for arc flash and shock protection. This evaluation will determine the
actual boundaries (i.e. prohibited, limited, restri
cted etc) and will inform the employee of what
PPE must be worn.

and also using in proximity to gasoline

A Sydney man who allegedly threw petrol on police had his clothes catch fire when he was tasered as officers attempted to arrest him.

interestingly the police did not catch fire? Perhaps.

A lawsuit filed in Richmond City Circuit Court in Virginia says a Chesterfield County cop ignored orders against discharging his Taser and deployed it anyway, setting a gasoline soaked man on fire.
