And the 'side effects' are your body's early warning system that those drugs are killing you

Prescription of chemicals to humans is guided by overly simplistic linear thinking as noted in the OP video. Doctors are not addressing lifestyle, body weight, diet, vitamin and trace mineral intake and spiritual well-being. Sadly, most prescription drug treatment is on its face quackery*.

* - Quackery: Deliberate misrepresentation of the ability of a substance, a device, or a person to prevent or treat disease.

Coming from you this makes the topic even more compelling. You're an MD, correct mamboni?

Homeopathic medicine attempts to give you something which causes the same symptoms as you have in an attempt to force the body into responding ... hopefully what fixes the symptom you are given will also be useful in attacking the cause of the symptom you are complaining of.

Allopathic medicine attempts to give you something which reduces the symptom. The cause is not addressed. Merely the symptom.

Much more money can be made by masking symptoms rather than suggesting a cure.

When your automobile breaks down you take it in for SERVICE or you SERVICE it yourself.
Same for the much greater and more complicated DESIGN of the human body

Either you take man's "cures" or you rely on what God has provided.
I choose the latter and am healthier than MOST guys 20+ years younger than me!

Great James Chestnut is a Doctor of Chiropractic, he is quite famous in our ranks. His T-shirt had three suggestions:
1) Eat well
2) Move well
3) Think well

Essentially this addresses three stressors that create all our problems in life. Chemical stress (what we eat drink breath, and we don't), mechanical stress (sitting too much is the major one, but also accidents, sleeping posture), and finally the mental stress (economy, family, work, social).

All these stressors contribute to creating mental, chemical and mechanical imbalances in our body. If they are big enough or persist long enough they create dis-ease, lack of ease, and you may get symptoms of that sooner or later. The standard medical approach is to prescribe a drug that counter that symptom, it does nothing to address the CAUSE of the symptom. Instead it may actually make the chemical imbalance worse, and you get sicker because of it.
