I've read accounts of people tracing back the royals heritage and discovering Jewish roots. If I remember correctly I believe the individual who accused them of being Jewish descendants was executed.

It is scary - not that the Saudis dumping their treasuries is much of an impact in the overall scheme of things, but, that it provides and EXCUSE for the powers that be (as in Hal Lindsey's "elite" friends) to go ahead with their plans to crash the markets big time (like NEVER before, not even after Napoleon's defeat).

I am reminded of FDR using the Jap attack on Pearl Harbor as an excuse to blame someone for going to war against Germany, not that the attack on Pearl Harbor had any significant effect on the military might of the US.

On Friday, September 30, a woman widowed when her husband was killed at the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001 became the first American to sue the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Washington DC District Court, just two days after Congress slammed Obama for siding with Saudi Arabia, overriding his presidential veto only for the first time in his administration, and enacting legislation allowing Americans to sue foreign governments for allegedly playing a role in terrorist attacks on U.S. soil.

Stephanie Ross DeSimone alleged the kingdom provided material support to al-Qaeda and its leader, Osama bin Laden. Her suit is also filed on behalf of the couple’s daughter. DeSimone was two months pregnant when her husband, Navy Commander Patrick Dunn was killed.

She is suing for wrongful death and intentional infliction of emotional distress, and is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.

In the lawsuit she alleges that "at all material times, Saudi Arabia, through its officials, officers, agents and employees, provided material support and resources to Osama bin Laden (“bin Laden”) and Al Qaeda. The support provided by Saudi Arabia to bin Laden and Al Qaeda assisted in or contributed to the preparation and execution of the September 11th attacks and the extrajudicial killing of Patrick Dunn."

They can only do 1300 MPH for a short distance. The F-16 would consume all of its available fuel before making it that distance. But yes I agree, they could of gotten planes in the air within 10-15 minutes in DC as there are bases all over the Eastern sea board.

I just remember when I was in the military I had spoken to a couple of pilots about range and high speed. They said the faster you go the more quickly your fuel supply is consumed to generate the thrust to stay at that speed. They said ranges are typically calculated for cruising speed, not Mach speeds.

I highly doubt that the Pentagram didn't have at least a unit with Stingers available.

And yes, NEADS should have been quite able to get some or all of the units on the East Coast available before the Pentagram strike...if there was not an active instruction to not do so (the "stand down"). The DC ANG at Andrews went up without weapons for kamikaze attacks, but were scrambled too late for the third plane; they were ready to take on Flight 93, though.

F-15s at Otis did respond to NYC (153 miles) at mach 1.2, but too late to intercept the second plane.

There really is no reasonable explanation as to why all available air defense units were not scrambled upon confirmation of the second tower strike.
