4chan is having financial trouble.

The owner, Hiro, has been looking for funds or a better way to conserve resources.

Hiro already said that the cost of running 4chan is hard because the site can't handle all of the traffic, and the site isn't making any money due to nobody wanting ads on 4chan.

So since the site is making almost no money to sustain itself, Hiro has considered either closing down certain boards or from the looks of it sell off a piece of 4chan.

Turns out Martin is going to prison because he started his hedgefund with stolen money.

He's 65 mil$ in debt.

I'm not too worried. It's had financial problems back when moot ran it. Image boards just in general are profitable.

There will be an investor, we just don't know what their politics/motivations will be.

If shit goes down people will hang around full-chan (8chan) till something else is made.

4chan is super popular. I don't see it going anywhere.
