Detectives have identified a person shot and killed outside a Lauderdale Lakes Walmart over the weekend.
Broward Sheriff’s deputies said the gunman shot and killed 50-year old Kennedy Lee on Sunday in broad daylight.
The store located on Oakland Park Boulevard and 441 was full of shoppers around 2 p.m. when the shooting occurred in the parking lot of the store.
Deputies said Lee was rushed to the hospital where he died within the hour.
Shoppers were told to stay put and were kept inside the store for more than five hours.
