recently vaccinated?
So I'd wager that this is not a polio "like" disease but polio itself.
We had the sorrowful tale here recently of a child who was infected with meningitis and will loose fingers and toes. I think all fingers and toes on a limb and most on the others plus significant scarring (and maybe some permanent organ damage - not sure).
The parents were begging for a vaccine to be made ..... when the probability is that is how the child contracted the illness in the first place.

The theory is that a viral cousin of polio is causing this (e.g., EV-D68). However, maybe you are right: vaccination has caused a mutation in polio itself. Would "the authorities" admit this? Hell no.

There's an article on polio being caused by the vaccine I've read and Dr. Claus Washington Jungeblut using high doses of vitamin c to prevent or cure it. There's plenty of money to be made if a vaccine is developed but not so much if vitamin c will prevent or cure it.
I take high doses of ascorbic acid every day to stop and reverse heart disease.
The article on polio here.

Same here Tumbleweed. My girls even though they are young (oldest is now 5) get 2 grams a day. 1 Gram in the morning, and another gram at night just before bed.
I take between 15-20 grams a day. You can buy it in bulk on Amazon for less than 20 FRNs and comes in 1 Kilo bags.
Just to expand upon how quickly you can overcome an illness with Vitamin C. I started getting a Sinus Infection on Monday after work. It was gone by Wednesday evening before bed. I upped my dosage up to 50 grams Tuesday and Wednesday, and by Wednesday night all cleared up.
That is the fastest I've ever recovered from a Sinus Infection.
In case anyone wants the bulk vitamin C. It's the most economical way to take it. Especially in large doses.

It is sour when drinking it straight. I like sour tasting things anyway. :) But if you don't like sour taste it may take some getting use too.

CDC police will eventually arrest the unvaccinated as 'diseased criminals'

Lipsomal with the sunflower lecathin isn't too bad. Just don't take any after beer...

You can mix stevia with it to sweeten it or with a little baking soda to take the bite out of it. I don't mind the sour taste either so I just mix it with water and drink it down. I take seven grams three times a day. I believe you want to avoid eating sugar with it because that can affect your absorption of the vit c.

Even animals who have the luxury of having their liver make their vitamin C still get sick. But haven't you noticed that when they do, they typically recover pretty quickly? Vitamin C will not prevent you from getting sick, but it helps a lot to get over the sickness.

Are there any animal you know of that manufacture that amount of vit C in their liver according to body weight? Or do you take that much to compensate for poor absorption?

I read somewhere that the amount of vitamin C circulating in the blood of animals is several 1000% higher than the RDA for humans.

A goat will usually make about 12-14 grams of vitamin C a day under normal conditions, and can be 2 or 3 times that when stressed from what I've read.
But yes consumption of vitamin C you do have to take a bit more to make up for poor absorption unless you do liposomal, but at 1 frn per gram gets a bit expensive quickly.

Make your own? I use a blender and I am sure I could buy better but I rarely get sick and if I do it's gone by morning.

Yeah I've looked into making my own liposomal vitamin C, just haven't pulled the trigger on any of the equipment, ultrasonic jewelry cleaner being one.

The blender thing seems to work fine. Give it a whirl before the ultrasonic thing. Like I said whatever I catch is gone the next morning plus I have enough for 2 days after. Just a thought.

Very interesting subject, I knew that some animals was able to synthesize their own vitamin C, but not that they could synthesize so much. Apparently humans and other mammals who aren't able to synthesize vit C has a recycling mechanism. So we can get by with much less...

I think it is prudent to be careful with not overconsuming anything, even lifesustaining oxygen and water is toxic if too much. One benchmark would be how much could you reasonably get from a natural diet in a day? I am not saying it is, but it could be harmful for us to eat more than that in synthetic or purified concentrated form, especially if you can't get it any longer... You may for instance have suppressed your recycling mechanism of vit C, by overloading it... Most of the things occurring in the body is an effect of intricate and complicated feedback loops, and that is how we build up resistance to drugs for instance. Just something to think about...

Interesting study, I do feel even with our recycling ability we are still not getting enough vitamin C in our diets. If you ever do megadose vitamin C, you'll tell a difference in how you get over being sick, to how cuts heal almost twice as fast. I cut my finger last weekend and it bled pretty good, but exactly a week later, the scab is gone.
Another thing I've noticed is that I was able to regrow my spinal discs. My discs were thinning in my lower back. My Chiropractor back in Indiana showed me my X-Ray and I could definitely see my discs in my lower back were noticeably thinner than in my mid or upper back. After 2 years, and a move down to the Carolina's I located a new Chiropractor here, new X-Ray and I ask him being in my late 30's do any of my spinal discs look thin? He takes a minute or 2 looking at it and says no, actually your spinal column looks great and resembles that of someone in their 20's. I showed him the pictures that I took of my X-Ray on my phone from 2 years prior. He said you can definitely see thinning here in this picture, and points to a section in my lower back and he returns to his X-Ray and says, well the good news and I don't know how you did it but it's no longer thinning and looks normal.
Vitamin C is the basis for collagen, which is required to make cartilage. I also supplement with Boron. :)

When I went to ER for coughing up blood they told me my lower 3 lumbar were crushed and they could inflate them... I had no problems except 4 broken ribs. They found all sorts of issues, asked about meds, breathing devices etc. Wanted to "treat" me for all sorts of shit. I just want to die peacefully fighting for my own purpose for fun or to defend my family. Docs... pfft a complete joke.
This is the difference between paid medical care and state care...
