As the one world government attempts to replicate the (un)Holy Roman Empire .... with all the history of this past attempt several millennia ago that was defeated by the Goths .... Caesar is the 2nd in command. The emperor is the one in charge. Caesar is a contest between those who WOULD be emperor.
In other words the contest for 2nd in command is merely a distraction. Keep in mind who is in charge and the contest for 2nd place clearly becomes nothing more than an illusion.
It is all a magical act.
If the Goths had TV I expect they would not have been so successful.

indeed. the whole menu isn't up for debate - we get a hamburger either way. frbny is skating by...since doc paul exited. and both are skype friendly warmongers in rhetoric. so we are left wtih picking between mayo or mustard or mustard on the burger. no steak, no pizza, no bbq. you get a burger - mayo or mustard?

Wrong: the only item on the menu for us is a shit sandwich. Hot or cold, ketchup or mustard. And no, you don't get fries with that.
