Another heartwarming story:

I want to share a "real life" story about how awful our health care system has become since the ACA (aka Obamacare) was passed. Our little family . . . because we are self-employed . . . currently pays about $2000 a month for health insurance with a $6000 out of pocket (which we met in January of this year) . . . so about $30,000 a year for our health insurance. Nothing subsidized . . .I write the check for the full amount every month. We just received our 2017 rate increase. To stay on our plan, we will have to pay $3800 a month and increase to a $10,000 out of pocket. So instead of $30,000 . . . we would have to pay $55,000 next year for health insurance. We don't have the option of "shopping around" for coverage because only one insurance provider offered in our area has our oncologist in the coverage. We certainly can't afford $55,000 . . . we don't qualify for any "Obamacare" subsidies. . . but we have to have insurance. We could give up food . . . #thisiswhypeoplehateObamacare (https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/thisiswhypeoplehateobamacare?source=feed_text&story_id=10211180416535089) #getgovernmentoutofmyhealthcare (https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/getgovernmentoutofmyhealthcare?source=feed_text&story_id=10211180416535089) #Ididntgettokeepmyplan (https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/ididntgettokeepmyplan?source=feed_text&story_id=10211180416535089) #congressexemptedthemselvesfromthishealthcare (https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/congressexemptedthemselvesfromthishealthcare?sourc e=feed_text&story_id=10211180416535089) #makehealthcareprivateandportable (https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/makehealthcareprivateandportable?source=feed_text&story_id=10211180416535089) #thisworksaswellasthedmv (https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/thisworksaswellasthedmv?source=feed_text&story_id=10211180416535089)

I've gone without health insurance for years. I still have to pay the stupid penalty though. Getting penalized for not being able to afford something. That's fair.
:(

I hope people voting for Hillary find out about this quick and it effects their vote.

The people in the OP should drop off insurance altogether, pay the penalty like Shami, and then if something bad happens and they need insurance, sign up after the fact. That's allowed now.

Yeah, if something bad happened I'd just get health insurance.

Obamacare was designed to fail, so take advantage of it.

You shouldn't pay the penalty. They can only take it from you if you are getting money back.

I feel fortunate to have employer provided... otherwise I'd opt out.

Our public servants (congress) are fortunate too, they get the gold standard healthcare plan, with tax dollars they take from us...and they get to be millionaires making insider stock trades. You can imagine why they want Trump to lose so bad...who'd want to give that up.

Unfortunately the OP folks refer to their original oncologyst. So basically they are already part of the indoctrinated medical industry to slowly kill some member of their family. I don't know them and personally think they could do much more on their own by doing some research VS the death cult. I also know a young man that got into the MD world working on pediatrics, he was such a smart kid but now he is a book talking opposite his opinnions when he was a little dude. They must really brainwash people going into the field. I could accept great income but not accept killing kids due to the 'book'.

Yes, they brainwash the MD's. It is fascinating, in first year Medical school physiology all students learn that inflammation is a useful and rational healing response to injury, then the next 4 years of medical school and 5 years of internship they get Doctored into prescribing anti-inflammatory drugs. Pure chutzpah actually, why even bother to teach them the truth about the useful inflammation in the beginning? Probably because they get them more pliable in the end, teach them the truth in the beginning and then spend the next 10 years in bending them away from it...

Once the whole 'Mr President' label no longer applies we need to hunt down this Kenyan and drag him back. We/he need(s) his day in court to answer for all this pain and suffering he's put the American people through

Note specifically that medical care is categorized as AN AMOUNT.

More specifically medical care is categorized as AN AMOUNT PAID FOR.

Generally, if it is not paid for then it is not medical care. If someone doesn't pay for it then you didn't receive medical care.

HOO-RAW!!!

That is the REAL reason why medical school is so long

To beat ANY OPPOSITION out of you.

If you dont tow the line and accept the brainwashing you dont pass to the next semester

Anybody knows you start to actually become a doctor in your residency by seeing actuall cases and making descions.
