I'm involved in promoting a new Free Sports app.

I need to get the word out to as many people in as short a time as possible.

I'm looking for ideas (NON-SPAM) on how and where

Here's the skinny
The game comes out in a little over a week.
The public will be able to Download and Play for Free
The players, play along with a live sporting event making calls on the outcome of plays.
If the call is right the player accumulates points. These points can be turned in for gear (Hats, Shirts, Electronics, tickets)

I'm at a loss as to where I've tried FB, Twitter, Instagram

The video was put out by corporate. We have to use their stuff. It is a live interactive sports app played along with a live sporting event where you make the calls, get them right and accumulate points. You then turn in those points for gear.

It really is an amazing app and concept. The founder said FIREFAN will do for sports what Facebook did for the internet.

Yeah I'm struggling to see how this thread isn't spam? "Free" app/game, "free" shwag/tix for accumulating points... obviously this app is revenue generating somewhere, if only datamining their suckers' phone/web activity as is the model with most "free apps" which force the user to allow the app carte blanche access to every function/file/nook/cranny of their 'device' which the app has no business accessing.

At a minimum I'd nuke the app & promo video urls, and move this thread to a members only sub like lounge; coz as it stands now it walks & quacks alot like spammy the duck.

I would start with College Sports Fan boards. Probably need to start with the local boards and not national websites like Scout.

Are you paying to advertizes on the message boards?

Isn't that what we have moderators for? No wonder we can't sign up new members. Only the truly thick skinned survive here wholly because of the toxicity of just a few of our most unstable members. Some people simply can't play nice in a censorship free environment. Hell, some of us automatically hate current members who take a break from the forum. It is what it is folks.

First it's not my app, as I said I'm helping promote it. We are allowed only to promote it via social media I make nothing until the app actually launches and is played. So as far as a budget it's minimal. Just looking for ideas other than the obvious. Sorry if it comes across as SPAM (which I hate as much as anyone else) Just trying to give all the info.

Moved down close to Cebu, for the last 2 years been away from the AG/AU stuff trying to build my Balloon ride biz. Got that going well. Was offered this app thing as a way to make a few bucks, but other than FB at a loss with the whole twitter/ Instagram thing (not where my IT talents lie) Thanks for understanding.
