Dear XXXXXXXX:

I serve as Vice President and Legal Counsel to Monmouth University. Your website hosts Gold-Silver.us. I write to you about an article published by Gold-Silver.com which relates to Monmouth. Gold-Silver.com published the following misinformation in an article dated October 7, 2016 (http://gold-silver.us/forum/showthre...369&viewfull=1 (http://gold-silver.us/forum/showthread.php?92750-LEAKED-Monmounth-polling-internal-memo-shows-polls-totally-rigged-for-Hillary&p=859369&viewfull=1)):

Leaked: Monmouth polling internal memo shows polls totally rigged for Hillary

This article also contains a content purporting to be an internal memo sent by the Monmouth University Polling Institute, which is a total and complete fabrication. It purports to attribute the most egregious bias to Monmouth in the design of a poll of Florida voters conducted in September 2016. A fraudulent document such as the one you are hosting cuts to the very heart of the Polling Institute’s credibility and, thus, causes severe damage to its main asset—its lack of bias.

As you can imagine, the Monmouth University Polling Institute depends upon its reputation for conducting fair and balanced polls. The lack of bias is essential for a poll to be deemed credible. Indeed, the lack of bias is the lifeblood of any legitimate polling organization. Critically, personnel at the University have now received threatening and other inappropriate messages and other communications from persons responding to or citing to this fabrication, and local law enforcement have been brought in. This statement is false and defamatory of the Monmouth University Polling Institute. The University has published factual information directly addressing the work of the Polling Institute, which you can find at:https://twitter.com/MonmouthPoll/sta...80423752667138 (https://twitter.com/MonmouthPoll/status/778680423752667138).

The Washington Post has also run an article debunking the assertions made in this false document on your site.https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...ng-to-believe/ (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/09/21/fake-polling-memo-prompts-the-question-how-much-are-partisans-willing-to-believe/).

I must therefore insist that you immediately CEASE and DESIST from any ongoing publication of this false and defamatory statements and take all steps necessary to take this information off of your website. The University takes its rights seriously and will vigorously enforce its right to prevent the dissemination of false defamatory information.

Sincerely,

John J. Christopher, Esq.

What are you, stupid? Can't you see their little feelings shrivel up right before your eyes?

Ification is the process of 'being'. As you might suppose reification is the process of becoming again. Most people don't realize that what creates something is their imagination. Anything you create you control (or at least you become responsible for).

Reification is making something real, bringing something into being, or making something concrete. Reification may also refer to: Reification (Gestalt psychology), the perception of an object as having more spatial information than is actually present.

So a recommended course of action is to ask this purported attorney for the signed authorization from Monmouth University to appoint him/her as a representative. This is made clear is Las Sietes Partidas.

The thread is for discussing the validity of the article. If we debunk the report ourselves, would Mr. Esquire be happy?

lol, they used the Washington Post as a source.

That doesn't help their claims of not being biased, at all.

John J. Christopher, Esq without providing GSUS with any proof or evidence that the document is "fraudulent" now demands that we not only delete it but not even discuss it.

By willingly offering John J. Christopher, Esq the public opportunity to provide us with his proof or evidence of Fraud, and willingly offering John J. Christopher, Esq the opportunity to discuss the entire matter here at GSUS, how can GSUS be held liable for Defamation or anything else?

Tell this prick to FOAD and brush up on the statutory and case law for SLAPP, in case he thinks he can file litigation against you:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strategic_lawsuit_against_public_participation

Shysters count on intimidation of the ignorant, so he likely is not stupid enough to actually file a suit.

Yes. And, apology "incurs liability."
