According to the Post, authorities said his actions appeared to be those of a man who was completely unprepared. “I think he just saw an opportunity, took the pail and walked off,” NYPD Detective Martin Pastor told NBC, adding that police believe the sticky-fingered swindler had no idea what he had just scored.
“I think when the lucky charm opened up the bucket, he’d seen the rainbow and seen the gold,” Pastor said.

Police released footage on Tuesday of what may be the luckiest theft in recent history. In the clip, a man brazenly swipes an 86-pound bucket full of gold worth $1.6 million from the back of an unattended armored truck on West 48th Street in the Diamond District on Sept. 29, in broad daylight, as tourists and locals were walking in and out of the jewelry stores that line the block.
The footage, first obtained by NBC 4 New York (http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Thief-Steals-Bucket-Gold-Flakes-16-Million-Dollars-Armored-Truck-Midtown-Manhattan-403646516.html)showed the man capitalizing on a 20-second window left open by the guards, one of whom was making a pickup while the other was walking to the front seat. The suspect allegedly cased the open Loomis International truck as it parked outside 48 W. 48th St., near Sixth Avenue. Realizing no one was looking, he then grabbed a black 5-gallon bucket carrying 86 pounds of gold flakes bound for Ontario and ran away with it in his arms, police said.
The heist, which was captured on tape, showed the man making off with the 86-pound bucket. Throughout his hour-long escape, he appears to struggle with the gold flakes, stopping to set them down several times and even attempting to carry them on his shoulder at one point.
Surveillance cameras tracked him weaving around a crowded sidewalk and onto Sixth Avenue where he disappears from view.
The suspect, who hadn't been arrested as of Wednesday morning, is about 5
feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds and in his 50s, police said. Cops suspect that the man is lying low in Orlando or Miami until things blow over in the Big Apple. He was last seen wearing a black vest, green shirt, blue jeans and carrying a black messenger bag, police said.

That's why it was left unattended.

I would expect that for insurance purposes the amount of gold he grabbed was much more than what was in the bucket. Just like the amount of drugs seized is always 1/2 or less of what was actually there.

I think he looks more Spanish than Khazarian. Besides, if he was a Jew he would have had sense enough to wear a hat and glasses. If it was an inside job involving many people, they would have a younger, larger and stronger man do the heavy lifting to an awaiting car.
Many immigrants are simply people who are ex cons in their homeland, looking for better opportunities elsewhere. I go with the opportunist theory.

Just look at how tiny the above ground reserves of physical silver really are.
"What happens if the sell off goes ballistic? The biggest bubble in history is the one starting to deflate right now, it is the sovereign bond bubble which sits under ~USD 1 quadrillion in interest rate and FOREX rate derivatives. This is a complete analysis of the biggest asset bubble in history and shows the bubble's vulnerability points by network analysis. When this bubble pops all the collateral supporting the leverage ratios of 25:1 in the TBTF banks and 100 to 300:1 for FOREX traders go vertical... Enjoy!"

Two Crocks in One Week
By Anna Von Reitz
Crock Number One:
Various alternative news sites are filled to overflowing with news about a new “UScurrency” being released. The gullibility of some parties and especially some ofthose who are eagerly spreading information (along with disinformation and everyrumor imaginable) never ceases to amaze me.
Please understand and grasp the fact that the words “United States of America” arenot protected property. They are not copyrighted and not patented. As a resultthere are now over 350 different entities calling themselves some version of “UnitedStates” or “United States of America”. They are a mish-mash of patrioticorganizations and fraud schemes.
The one responsible for this latest bit of nonsense is calling itself “The United Statesof America” (as opposed to “the United States of America”, etc.) and is run out ofCosta Rica by Frank O’Collins and Keith Livingway. If you look at the tag line on thisannouncement you will see that it is issued by “Reign of Heaven”--- a cultishorganization based on the historical and religious researches of Frank O’Collins.
Back in the 1980’s Keith Livingway discovered that something was wrong and caughtonto the ending of the bankruptcy of “the United States of America, Inc.” andbasically, he went to the bankruptcy sale and bought the office of “PostmasterGeneral” via a claim on abandonment. This is the same as buying a brand name, like “Twinkies”.
Like many others, Keith made the mistake of thinking the governmental servicescorporation was the actual government and he has clung ever since to his belief thathe “captured” the lawful office of United States Post Master (Ben Franklin’s office) viahis action. A quick glance at the actual title dispenses with this claim. Keith claimsto be the Postmaster General--- this is a corporate office that never existed prior tothe Civil War. In other words, it is another deceptively similarly named corporateoffice and never represented any actual office in any sovereign government andcertainly not the Office of the Post Master entrusted to act as the Trustee of ourcountry’s land jurisdiction---which is the office Keith claims to hold by these dubiousmeans.
Note the difference: Postmaster General versus United States Post Master.
It is not possible to “buy” an actual sovereign government or any office of asovereign government. You can buy a brand name, a title, a trademark, a copyright,a business name, or any other corporate fiction asset you please, and abuse them asyou will, but when what is true comes, what is false must pass away.
It is the same way with all these entities claiming to be the “United States Treasury”and “US Treasury Department” or in this case, “office of the US Treasury”---- allsimilar names deceits and hokum. We haven’t had an actual Treasury in this country since 1924. To the extent that any such organization exists today, it is known as theInternational Monetary Fund.
Yes, children, this means that when you get mail addressed from “US TreasuryDepartment” or “Department of the Treasury” or any such nonsense, you are beingscammed by international bill collection agencies acting under color of law andsemantic deceit. There is no such entity associated with our lawful government andnot even any such agency associated with the governmental services corporationsthat have been active here since the 1930’s.
Remember this and remember it well and remember it always: the government ofthis country is fully vested in its people, not in any corporation.
And, therefore, our lawful government is also not vested in any office created by anycorporation, including “President”, “office of the President”, “Office of the President”,“President of the United States”, “President of the United States of America”,“PRESIDENT” and so on and on.
The currency being announced by this foreign (we presume Costa Rican) corporationcalling itself “The United States of America” is just more fiat drivel --- “legal tender”being launched on the basis of false claims against property that does not belong to“The United States of America” but instead belongs entirely to the people of thiscountry and to their lawful states and their lawful association of states known as the“united States of America” and later, “Confederate States of America”.
Let’s be perfectly clear about this--- we are not being “represented” by anyincorporated entity merely calling itself “The United States of America” or “UnitedStates” or anything of the sort. We are presenting ourselves and our organizedgovernment in proper person now, without any pretense of such “representation”.When you are present to conduct your own business, you have no need for an agentor representative.
So all these organizations running around committing all this fraud “in our names”and claiming to “represent” us----don’t. Likewise all their claims to have theauthority to issue currency in our names or to have title or control of our resourcesso as to hypothecate debt against us, our labor, our land or anything else--- is purehokum that we disallow.
Our nations --- all fifty of them – founded on the precepts and propositions offreedom, not “liberty”, are still here, still perfectly competent and enabled to functionwithout the hired help. We are also enabled to designate the service provider(s) andSuccessors to Contract ---- which we have done pending the assembly of a lawfullyempowered and constituted Continental Congress of the states.
For all those worldwide who need to know it, new Sovereign Letters Patent wereissued last year, along with a new Declaration of Joint Sovereignty, which providesfor the Native American Nations to hold the federal side of the constitutional contractuntil such time as a national educational campaign and plebiscite can be conductedand a properly composed Continental Congress convened.
That’s where things actually stand and who we really are---- people and statesbelonging to and operated by the people of this country, not a bunch of unidentifiedservice organizations and foreign commercial corporations running around claimingto “represent” us.

Man Who Stole $1.6 Million Bucket Full Of Gold In Midtown Manhattan Has Been Identified
On Tuesday, NYPD identified the man as Julio Nivelo. He is now believed to be in Los Angeles. NYPD Det. Martin Pastor says Nivelo, 53, is a convicted felon who's known to the NYPD as Luis Toledo, among other aliases. He's a career thief who's been arrested seven times and deported four times to his native Ecuador, according to Pastor.
Nivelo, a native of Ecuador, fled to Orlando, Fla., before heading to California, WNBC reported on Tuesday night. Mr. Nivelo, who was living in West New York, N.J., at the time of the theft, had previously been arrested seven times and deported four times, the station reported.
Surveillance video from the the theft showed Nivelo loitering around the truck before one guard goes to make a pickup, and the other guard heads to the front seat to grab his cellphone. Those 20 seconds were long enough for the thief to strike: he goes to grab the 86-pound bucket - roughly half his weight - and makes a run for it, though he clearly has difficulty maneuvering it. The video shows the thief setting down the heavy bucket, putting it on his shoulder, then taking a breather. He takes another few steps and pauses again. The normally 10-minute walk takes him an hour. He then jumps into a van at 49th Street and Third Avenue.
The police released several photos of Mr. Nivelo. Nivelo was a man about town before the heist, it appears: photos show him posing at Washington Square Park and with a figure of the pope at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum.
