I drove through a tent city in Oakland today. There must have been over a 100 tents, plywood structures with tarps, etc. over a couple of blocks long. They weren't there in the past. It literally looked like a Hooverville, or shanty town.

The irony? Anti-Trump fliers and posters everywhere. Trump is the one who wants to bring jobs back, so folks don't have to live like that. You'd think they'd support him. Nope. Effing California....

I'm not sure that those folks living in tents are getting paid. Look at Dearborn, MI. You've got whole communities of Islamists living in large houses and getting free handouts. Heck, they are driving BMW's and paying for food with EBT cards.
