To summarize: a cabinet run by Wall Street and big oil (with a neocon backstop), and a handful of veteran generals thrown in. The writing should be on the wall as to what comes next.

I'm not hearing any draining sounds from the swamp in Washington......

He's trying to save an organization and he's hiring businessmen, not politicians or conservatives with no business savvy.

Hey, I'm all in on this guy. He's all we got! Either try and be patient and more objective and less nervous and doubtful? If Trump's a bust at least I know there was no other viable alternative left when the time came to choose!

OK, I'm done. Let the hate filled winning continue...carry on men!

Actually, it's worse than we initially thought:

He will also be paired with former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton as his deputy secretary of state, one of the sources added, with Bolton handling day-to-day management of the department.

http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/rex-tillerson-exxon-mobil-expected-be-named-trump-s-secretary-n694371

The only thing good I can say about Tillerson is that he is actually an engineer, and not merely a corporatist kook. Bolton, well, nothing good can be said.

At least we're going to be bro-tier with Russia:

Ties with Russia

Tillerson has close ties with Vladimir Putin (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Putin); the two men have been associates since Tillerson represented Exxon’s interests in Russia during Boris Yeltsin (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boris_Yeltsin)'s premiership.[13] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rex_Tillerson#cite_note-Olson-13) John Hamre (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Hamre), the president and CEO of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Center_for_Strategic_and_International_Studies)(fo r which Tillerson is a board member), states that Tillerson "has had more interactive time with Vladimir Putin than probably any other American with the exception of Henry Kissinger (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Kissinger)."[13] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rex_Tillerson#cite_note-Olson-13)
In 2011, on behalf of ExxonMobil, Tillerson signed an agreement with Russia for drilling in the Arctic that could be valued up to $300 billion.[14] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rex_Tillerson#cite_note-14) Although the company began drilling in the Kara Sea (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kara_Sea) in summer 2014, sanctions against Russia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_sanctions_during_the_Ukrainian_crisi s) during the Ukranian crisis brought the project to a halt in September of that year.[15] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rex_Tillerson#cite_note-15)[16] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rex_Tillerson#cite_note-16)
In 2013, Tillerson was awarded the Order of Friendship (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_Friendship) by Putin.[11] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rex_Tillerson#cite_note-exxon-11)

Tillerson is a brilliant choice

He is 4th down from the presidency

Exxon operates on every contintent on the planet and in order to do that you have to be on good terms with heads of state

Bolton is a rabid asshat but he actually knows how to run agencies for political gain.

The deputy is not above the chief.

I fully expect this guy to watch how bolton works and get familiar with the workings and soon as bolton gets to big for his britches Trump is going to whack him ala chris christie style.

It will interesting to watch.....never seen anything like it.

Unless Bolton stocks SD with neocons again. That has to be stopped before it is started.

I was just thinking about all of Trump's choices so far.

Let me ask you a question: if you want to defeat the Shadow Government, how do you do it?

You appoint billionaires to run the government who are not part of the shadow government. They are not CIA or defense contractors. And they will not be manipulated by CIA or defense contractors because these people have large interests elsewhere.

Do you think the CEO of Exxon Mobile gives a fuck about getting rich off arms deals, drugs, or human trafficking? No, he wants big oil deals. He wants healthy economies to consume the oil. He wants stability so trade is not disrupted.

The CIA and defense contractors are getting squeezed right now.

The deputy is not above the chief.

Bolton will be the de facto SECSTATE, and Tillerson will be de jure. In other words, Tillerson just the figurehead.

Bolton is an unconscionable choice for anything but prison.

Tillerson is the CEO of one of the most complex organizations on Earth, and does not need Bolton to "teach" him anything. Hence, it's clear the Jews have instructed Trump to have Bolton there to run the Shabbos Goy Tillerson.

Under Bolton, the State Department will have one guiding principle: is it good for "Israel"?

The Military-Industrial Complex includes petroleum and banks, to whom Trump is giving plenty of control of the regime to.

Here's my thinking: Trump was getting pressure from the usual suspects to appoint Bolton SoS so he went with his own pick along with throwing a bone to the Bolton section.

He should, he's in charge of the government and in order to fix it you need to have a measure of control....

Trump will be listening to that cry, by all accounts.

It may be muffled once you're left 8ft. deep covered in soil though.

Bolton be the Secretary of State for Middle East! Rex will handle the rest of the world including Russia. Greater Israel is coming, after a great middle eastern war!
