Silver down .80 cents to $16. Is the DOW going to break 20,000 today?

I remember having to sell a little gold near the top, but hung on to all my silver. I thought it was "going to the moon", lol. I don't have any thoughts on where the bottom could be. Sub $10? If the market does a pump and dump in the next few months, it will likely drag down PM's as well. At least temporarily. Might be a good buying opportunity.

Sub ten isn't going to happen, if we can get 100 oz bars for 1400 I'm taking out a loan to buy them. They will swing around to 20 pretty easily, then unload and buy goodies.

melt on silver dollars is down to $12.x - half dollars 5.x

remember the good old days when you could buy junk at spot?

Maybe the PM market is just over for the next 20 years?
It seems like a major attack on our country, or on the internet, can be the only thing that can turn it around.

For now, plastic is money, stocks are money and currency is money, that's it.

I think most of us are in it for the long haul anyway, so these dips are perfect buying opportunities.

I got into PM's back in 2008, when the market crashed and silver dropped to $8 and change. So, if they crash the market again to battle Trump, I could see sub $10 silver happening again. The last silver I bought was when silver dipped down to $14.26 earlier this year.

I guess I'm being bearish on silver, even with this dip right now. If you can get 100 oz bars for $1400 on the way down...long term, that's a great buy though.

I was also there, and it was very difficult to find sub $14.00 silver, regardless of the spot.

Thanks for reminding me of the difference between physical price and what they manipulate spot price to be.. I remember my first silver purchase though, an APMEX special on silver eagles, $12.76 each with free shipping. I only bought 60 of them, if I recollect. I also bought some 1/10 oz gold eagles for $91 each. Would love to see those prices again!

If I can get physical for at or less than $14, like you I'll back up the truck. Until then, I'll sit back and watch the show as it unfolds.

Trends and crap happens all the time, buy on the dip and sell on the peak..

All else is physiologically crap.

Hold for value on the average..

But always remember you can not eat metal..

The last time silver hit sub ten bucks, nobody was selling. Except weak hands on craigslist, sterling at garage sales, and my brick and mortar where I was A VIP and picking up 90% and happy birthday/Christmas stuff. I remember thinking shit was bad if I couldn't dig up more than ten ounces every payday. These days, I don't give a fuck. I'll buy a lower (80% is the new 90% lol) instead, but the fondling factor isn't there.

Ain't selling because if holders sell they take a loss depending on buy price! Long run supply and demand rules always!

cheap prices are all about bullion and junk. been a long time since i could shop for junk. wouldn't hurt my feelings for junk to go to 10x spot. $10 in silver halves or quarters for $100....bring it

to each, his own. i like to speculate with 20 percent of the pm allocation. keeps things interesting and avoids spot price mistakes...and i can still buy stuff when spot prices are high. low spot is all about bullion and junk (because speculator stuff prices are MUCH more sticky)

example: high price - buy a proof libertad with micro mintage or a historical commem. low price - buy a roll of circ quarters or a block of 99 pure

I doubt I'll ever see a billion of anything, much less hold that and preserve it.

George Soros has billions, and he spends his financing race riots. If I ever get a billion, I'll hold it and preserve it though, just on principle.

what??? you aren't buying the hyperinflation snake oil? we should all be billionaires by now

the one world currency (frn) skype have figured out how to print and suppress at same time --- give a trillion to nyc banksters at same time as extracting a trillion from flyover goy. nets out to zero
