The lesson here is: don't transport fuel when the roads are iced over.

It would seem to be a good idea for the Maryland DOT to issue a travel advisory such as: ALL elevated roadways are iced over - if you attempt to use these iced over roadways without tire chains or studded winter tires* you WILL have a collision.
*having tire chains or studded tires isn't going to prevent some careless joker without same from slamming into you, which is why I NEVER venture out onto the road when there's even the slightest chance there may be ice on the roads
Ever seen the automatic chains emergency vehicles use?

First rule of yankee bad weather driving; continue your shitty driving habits, just like it was sunny outside.
Wont even get started with the idiot recording, stopped on the passing lane side, on a bridge, with limited clearance.

Or, don't drive like nothing has changed when weather is inclement.
"Reasonable and prudent." The trucker wasn't exactly driving slowly.
Californians are the worst for this. None of these crazy bastards know how to adapt for rain let alone snow or ice. I guess drivers in Fairyland are likewise.
