View Full Version : Trump Is Keeping His Personal Private Security Team...Moving Them Into White House

President-elect Donald Trump has continued employing a private security and intelligence team at his victory rallies, and he is expected to keep at least some members of the team after he becomes president, according to people familiar with the plans.

The arrangement represents a major break from tradition. All modern presidents and presidents-elect have entrusted their personal security entirely to the Secret Service, and their event security mostly to local law enforcement, according to presidential security experts and Secret Service sources....

Trump’s security director, Schiller...is often misidentified as a member. (Despite being — at 58 years old — significantly older than most agents, Schiller looks the part, invariably sporting a uniform of dark suits and white shirts, along with a Secret Service-issued perimeter pin, and maintaining an athletic 6-foot-4-inch, 210-pound frame.)...
Schiller is expected to follow Trump into the White House, according to multiple sources on the transition team.

Even after the arrival of Trump’s Secret Service detail, which typically marks the end of any pre-existing security arrangement, Schiller never strayed from his boss’ side.
Given that the CIA is already trying to derail the Trump presidency through leaks about alleged Russian hacking, I don't blame Trump for keeping his own security around. No doubt, he has seen the movie JFK.

In wouldn't trust the SS either. Who knows how many loyalists the Halfrican converted during the last 8 years. It would only take one of them, angry that Barry's legacy is about to go down the shitter, to get to Trump and he knows it. He trusts who he trusts and not many of those work for the current government.

....and I'm damned sure Trump has seen the movie; JFK!

Throughout the 15 months he’s been running for president, Donald Trump (http://www.thedailybeast.com/content/dailybeast/features/2016/donald-trump.html)’s campaign has paid private security contractors at least $432,201 for protection—$320,453 of which was spent after he was given a Secret Service detail in November 2015, according to Federal Election Commission filings.

The calculus for Trump seems simple. A public figure since the 1970s, he’s long had reason to take precautions when it comes to his safety. And now, as perhaps the most divisive major party nominee (http://www.thedailybeast.com/content/dailybeast/articles/2016/08/17/meet-trump-s-polling-truthers-who-say-the-numbers-are-lies.html) in American history, there’s more cause for concern than ever. Not to mention that being surrounded by macho former law-enforcement officials (http://www.thedailybeast.com/content/dailybeast/articles/2016/06/23/could-donald-trump-and-sheriff-joe-arpaio-cost-john-mccain-his-senate-seat.html) adds to Trump’s tough guy mystique.

If I had Trump's financial resources I would too. He's making enemies with the deep state. That's not really a long term plan for survival, but having a private security firm guarding you which had a financial incentive to keep you alive (so they can continue to get paid) is far better than having SS that if you get shot, they'll have a year long investigation of what went wrong, no one gets fired and they all keep their job.

Meet Trump’s feisty head of security who smacked protester, booted Univision anchor and restrained Vince McMahon

Donald Trump's head of security is a former NYPD detective with a penchant for getting physical with the billionaire's adversaries — including WWE’s Vince McMahon and Univision anchor Jorge Ramos.

Keith Schiller, the Donald’s bodyguard of 16 years, smacked a Latino demonstrator (http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/trump-security-guard-hits-protester-face-video-article-1.2348516)after snatching his “Trump: Make America Racist Again” banner outside a Manhattan news conference Thursday.

The protester, Efrain Galicia, had jumped Schiller from behind, Trump's campaign told the New York Times. Though the campaign threatened to file charges, no one has filed a complaint, the NYPD said.

An attorney for Galicia told the Daily News he is exploring all "legal remedies" as Schiller appeared to aggressively try to "suppress free speech and the growing public criticism of the Trump campaign."

While a bodyguard's job is to protect his client at any cost — especially when it's a presidential candidate — Schiller is unique for the headlines he's made while performing his duties.

The 57-year-old Bronx native is the same guard who forcibly removed Jorge Ramos from a press conference in Iowa last week (http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/donald-trump-jorge-ramos-booted-presser-article-1.2337200), a source said.

Trump ordered the Mexican-American journalist out for speaking without being called on just two months after Univision pulled the Miss USA (http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/univision-pulls-usa-donald-trump-insults-mexico-article-1.2271065)contest over Trump’s anti-Mexico rhetoric. Trump filed a $500 million lawsuit (http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/donald-trump-sue-univision-500-million-article-1.2276939) over the breach of contract just days later.

And in 2007, news outlets gleefully ran a picture of Schiller facing off with Vince McMahon of the WWE, preventing the outspoken wrestling owner from hitting Trump, who had just slapped McMahon in the face. It was unclear if the confrontation was staged, as in true WWE fashion.
EDITORIAL: ETHICS COPOUT ON TRUMP VS. SCHNEIDERMAN (http://www.nydailynews.com/opinion/editorial-ethics-copout-trump-schneiderman-article-1.2346596)

"I know he's not one to talk about himself or his job," his wife of 32 years, Lena, told the Daily News, citing confidentiality issues. She declined to comment further without speaking with her husband first.

Schiller did not immediately respond to the Daily News' request for comment.

Republican strategist and commentator Michael Caputo said Schiller is "single-mindedly loyal to Donald Trump and his family."

"Keith is more experienced than almost any Secret Service agent I've ever worked with - and I've worked with plenty. He's also kind, gentle, quick to smile, and truly pleasant to be around. But attack him from behind and you'll meet an entirely different man - swiftly and mercilessly," Caputo said.

Earlier, Caputo wrote, "A little advice: DON'T ATTACK HIM FROM BEHIND, IDIOT," warning Galicia would "regret it."

A source who worked with Schiller in the past described him to the News as a "nice guy" and a seasoned law enforcement officer.

Schiller, a registered Republican, rose through the ranks of the NYPD over 12 years, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Schiller, who spent four years with the U.S. Navy in Virginia, started out as a transit police officer in 1992. By the time he retired 12 years later, he had served as a narcotics officer with the 34th Precinct, the NYPD Strike Force and the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area program of New York and New Jersey.

Schiller was the muscle man who broke down doors with the battering ram on drug raids, the source said.
In his last five years with the NYPD, Schiller began working as Trump's bodyguard and director of security for the Trump Organization.

There are definitely perks to Schiller's gig.

Schiller seems to get free reign of Trump's luxury golf courses and resorts, according to social media.
On Facebook, he humble-bragged about his work travel, including trips to Dubai, Miami, New Orleans and Las Vegas, as well as The Tonight

Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Why would I bury my gun for 2 years? :D

I'm not saying Glocks are junk - my wife has a Glock 17 - but I simply don't like their handling/feel or the lack of a real safety. I don't hesitate to recommend them to those who want "point and click" ease-of-use. Just not for me.

As the Coup Against Trump Fails, the Threat Against His Life Rises — Paul Craig RobertsAs the Coup Against Trump Fails, the Threat Against His Life Rises

Paul Craig Roberts

The use of the presstitute media to deny Trump the Republican presidential nomination failed.
The use of the presstitute media to deny Trump victory in the presidential election failed.
The vote recount failed.

The effort to sway the Electoral College failed.
But the effort continues.

The CIA report on Russia’s alleged interference in the US presidential election ordered by Obama is in process. Faked evidence is a hallmark of CIA operations.

In their determination to seal Trump’s ears against environmental concerns, a group of environmentalists plan to disrupt the inauguration. This in itself is of little consequence, but chaos presents opportunity for assassination.

Trump himself seems to think he is in danger. According to MSNBC, Trump intends to supplement his Secret Service protection with private security. As there is evidence of CIA complicity in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy (film shows Secret Service agents ordered away from JFK’s limo immediately prior to his assassination), Trump, who is clearly seen as a threat by the military/security complex, is not being paranoid. MSNBC implies that Trump’s private security is to suppress protesters, as if government security forces have shown any compunction about suppressing protesters. http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc-news/watch/will-trump-use-private-security-as-president-837040707540 (http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc-news/watch/will-trump-use-private-security-as-president-837040707540)

This provides an indication of the threat that the CIA sees in Trump: http://russia-insider.com/en/politics/donald-trump-will-ruthlessly-decimate-cia-turning-against-him/ri18205 (http://russia-insider.com/en/politics/donald-trump-will-ruthlessly-decimate-cia-turning-against-him/ri18205)

Global Research’s Michel Chossudovsky has explained that Trump’s peaceful approach to Russia aligns him with oligarchs, whose wealth benefits from business deals with Russia, and puts Trump at odds with the military/security oligarchs, who benefit from the one trillion dollar annual military/security budget. The latter group have been in control since President Eisenhower warned us about them and can muster deep state forces against a Trump presidency.

To take on a group like this requires a tough SOB. Anything less than Trump wouldn’t have a chance. Indeed, if Douglas Valentine’s just published book, The CIA As Organized Crime (Clarity Press, 2017) is even half true, Trump’s life is certainly at risk.

Donald Trump is clearly no saint. Given what we are up against—dangerous tensions between nuclear powers and the military/security complex’s stake in these tensions—a saint is not what the situation calls for.

The military/security complex has been entrenched since NATO’s formation on April 4, 1949, a provocation that preceded by six years the formation of the Warsaw Pact on May 14, 1955. Any president willing to confront this entrenched deep state superpower deserves the support of all of us.
