Eliminating wasteful spending programs is not like killing a patient. Our government has taxed at gunpoint many billions of $$ and given them to evil programs- like NPR, Planned Parenthood, Black Lives Matter, National Endowment for Arts, National Council on US-Arab Relations, etc. There must be hundreds of grants given out for wasteful research or idiotic programs.

In 1948 the Congress createad a new court system, part of which are the United States District Courts who exceed their jurisdiction and uphold the rulings and actions of the government agencies created by the administrative procedures act. Neither the agencies or the District courts have jurisdiction to do what they do, but like boiling frogs they have usurped little by little their jurisdiction hand in hand with creating a populace educted in the public school systems who have accepted their so called authority.

To gain more federal control and side step the confines of the constitution these same bastards we elected to represent us convinced all the states to adopt commercial law, Uniform Commercial Code, and dangling the federal carrot in the form of grants, Federal Highway Funds being one of the first. All these grants come with stipulations, obey or lose your finding! Today their are grants offered by the various federal departments to states, counties, cities, sheriff's departments, the list goes on and on. The Dept. of Agriculture offers grants to build new firehouses, city and county water and sewer systems in small towns. The persons in public office who write the grant applications sit in front of the public meetings and crow how wonderful they are for the economy, and after all it is FREE MONEY! They refuse to reveal the strings attached which are a noose around the neck of freedom.

Add to the mix all the federal labor unions that have sprung up since the 1970s raising federal wages equal to or above those of the private sector many good people scrambled to go to work for Uncle Sam.
