I wonder how many cops have been hurt by dogs to justify this?

Ha ha, just try it and see. They value the life of their animals more than the lives of the people they are allegedly protecting.

Shooting a police dog is "(attempted) killing of a 'police officer'" in most states - seriously.
I wish millions would adopt the Absolute Castle Doctrine - deadly force used against all home invaders. These "dynamic entries" wouldn't be so "cool" to the pigs anymore. The cops would have to learn to use the old tactics, of staking out a target, and capturing him in the open.
