The nightclub is close from where I have my clinic, and it is a popular hangout for my clientele or theirs kids. I should have several patients that knows people directly that were injured or killed or at least there on New Years Eve. This is a white Turk hangout. I am leaning towards this being a fake event!

No I don't live in a bubble. I work very close to the nightclub were the attack supposedly happened. That club has the same clientele as mine. The secular elite of Istanbul, of which I know more than a thousand personally as patients.

Turks confuse New Year with Christmas. I suppose it is ok though as some Christians celebrate Santa Claus/Nicolaus on 6th of December, 24/25 December, or 6th of January (Armenian orthodox). In a way it seems logical that Christ was born on the the first day of the year 1 A.D., since our time count supposedly started then.

Ok an update.

First I am convinced now an attack happened at the Reina night club!

During this week I have talked to some select patients whose judgement I trust, about the attack. If they knew anyone at the club that night etc. Some told me that they used to go to the club a decade or so ago, but it isn't a place where locals go any longer. Mostly Arab tourists these days (which are pretty much the only tourists that have continued to go to Turkey).

Today a guy that is a limo-driver which I have known for 4 years came to visit me! I knew he was a limo-driver and most of his clientele, he had told me before, were Saudi "royalty" and other rich Arabs. So I asked him if he knew anyone at Reina. He told me an old friend (of 6 years), a limo-driver, was waiting outside for his Arab clients who was at the club, and he was shot in the head by the assailant on his way into the club. Died immediatelly.

I trust the guy, and I pressed him on the fact that he was a direct friend of his, not a friend of a friend.

Many of the people I have been talking about this here says, that there is some odd things about this terror attack. First of all he changes clothes during the shooting 4-5 times, and he manages to escape, without detection, in an area with plenty of police surveillance, and very limited escape routes. This smells of a government intelligence operation. Not a normal Islamist attack.

A large part of Turkish economy has consisted of tourism traditionally. Lately for some reason European and Russian tourism has vanished, while Arabic Tourism has increased, still a crisis in the business, no doubt, with Hotel occupancy rates in the summer around 25-30%. Another part of the economy last 10-15 years has been construction business, probably the main engine actually in the growth of Turkish economy. A large part of it has been Arabic investors. Even though the club doesn't cater any longer to the Turkish elite, it does so to the Arabic elite, who comes to Turkey to party, and invest.

Both Arabic real estate investment and tourism will decline because of this.

This will aid in the plunge of Turkish economy to the basement, and probably further destabilize it politically.

I think people here consider this a false flag attack, due to the professionalism and efficiency of the perpetrator and the fact that he managed to escape unscathed, and the strategic economic importance the target population of the attack has (Arab elites), for Turkey. At least the people I have talked to in any detail suggests this (in no way repressentative of the average Turk).

Most speculation here is on an American agency, but Mossad is another possibility of course. Russia, yes also. Iran? Maybe, maybe, doubtful if they have the competency. A raghead in ISIS, could have killed and maimed all these people but he would be dead himself. Saudi, nah... British or French intelligence? I really don't think so.

I think the chutzpah of the whole thing points towards Israeli masterminding, and they are the primary beneficiaries in destabilizing Turkey, they could have told a US agency to do it too. But I think they like to do these things themselves. It gives the operators legend status in IDF and eventually everyone knows this...

Some interesting tidbits, people here are speculating about the guy going with the ambulance. Apparently an American called Jacob Raak. I am told he is a military subcontractor, and most likely the perpetrator, with a prepared ambulance to go. The target may be some important Saudi royalty and the rest were just collateral damage, alternatively he just targeted Arabs. I am busy working, so I have had no time verifying this information, until 4-5 hours later.

The interesting thing is that this intentionally is put into our face. As he was willingly interviewed coming out on the stretcher. Apparently he didn't even go to a hospital, but straight to the airport...

A reader (David H.) gave me a little head’s up on a part of a story involving the New Year’s Eve Istanbul shooting at the Reina nightclub. It involved an American “victim” of the shooting, William Jacob Raak, and his less than convincing interviews.

Raak is a military contractor of sorts and his LinkedIn follow page is a veritable “who’s who” of big league Pentagon contractors. He is listed as the president of something called TECH Manufacturing Corp which is a sheet metal fabrication shop in Sharon Hill, Penn. On their Manta page Erick Raak is listed as the “owner”. Probably William’s father. They also have this statement: “Established in 1952 TECH Manufacturing, Corp. is a leading manufacturer of sheet metal and machined items for the aerospace and medical industries. Additionally, TECH Manufacturing, Corp. assists in the manufacturing of rotorcraft, electronic and defense systems, missiles, UAV’s and a diverse array of small medical components and devices.” The business website, www.techmanufacturingcorp.com, seems to be a dead link. The Manta page is maintained by Jake Raak. Jacob.

Jake Raak says he was shot in the leg by one of the assailants. The bullet supposedly hit his cell phone and then traveled down his hip to his knee. Here he is the night he was shot. This is when he said there were multiple shooters but he only saw the one. In the videos below you can see that interview as well as one he gave as he was being whisked out of the country by some handlers. Both videos are highly suspect in that his behavior is quite odd.

Here he is smiling during his interview as he’s being whisked out of the country. He’s talking about the 7 friends of his who were also shot, according to Raak. And he can’t seem to stop smiling.

Interestingly, during the interview he says he would return to Turkey someday “when it’s not so dangerous”.

The terror attack at the popular nightclub was clearly an attempt to hurt Turkey’s tourism industry. Most of the victims were tourists. So Raak’s statement seems custom made to suit that end.

Here is a photo you aren’t going to see that much of in regards to this story. It’s Jake Raak in the back of that ambulance. He’s just said he was shot in the leg and his 7 friends were also shot. He’s been addressed by first responders and placed on a gurney for transport to the hospital.

Jake Raak has a wound in his leg, near his femoral artery, from an AK-47 and has already been aided by first responders and loaded into an ambulance for transport… and he is wearing what appears to be a New Year’s Eve scrunchie on his leg and NOTHING ELSE has been done to him. A scrunchie. Still on his leg.

They haven’t cut his pant’s leg to see if he is bleeding internally. They haven’t done any sort of field dressing on his wound. Nope. None of that. They simply put him on a gurney, along with his scrunchie, and wheeled him to the ambulance where everyone seem content to work on other things like getting out of there, instead of working on the guy with an AK-47 gunshot wound to his femur.

Why did they grab this guy right off the bat who’s only apparent injury is his scrunchie while dozens of others lay bleeding out on the nightclub floor?

Are these the worst first responders in Turkey or is this just his get away ride?

According to reports, the assailants got away by dropping their weapons, changing clothes and blending in with the victims either by fleeing the nightclub on their own… or laying down and pretending to be victims.

I don’t know. Is Raak a victim who just happened to be there and just happens to have the toughest cell phone on the planet and the worst first responders in Turkey? Did he give that Nazi salute at the airport as a kind of homage to Gladios of days gone by? Is he smiling during his interview because he’s high on painkillers or because he’s flabbergasted by the ridiculousness of him being treated like a hero leaving the scene of his crime?

One thing I want to add…

The perception management that the Turks are subjected to is not as strong as what we have here, and the public, enraged about the almost daily “terror attacks” is all over this story like hawks… I do not feel that their scrutiny will cease now that Mr. Raak has ben spirited away. I expect the Turks (not the government or law enforcement but the people) to investigate where he was staying, when he arrived in Turkey, how he spent his time prior to the shooting, etc. as well as following up on his actions, whereabouts and identity for some time to come…And, I hope they do.

In fact, I really wish someone would do a “where are they now” special about all the actors and fake witnesses and fake victims we have seen over the years…

think about this: Gladio in Turkey also includes some members of their police departments. After the failed coup, many military Gladio operatives were removed from power but the PDs were basically left alone. The assassination was conducted by a police officer and this attack took place right across the street from a police department. curious huh?

You should also note the flashbang canisters used at this attack also made in USA Pennysilvania and they say only used by two countries intelligence, mossad and cia. This guy seems very comfy right after the attack, if what he says is true he let the terrorist shot himself by an AK47 at point blank and he can easily pulls himself up the chair in the news video shown in turkish tv right after the attack. I am not a weapon expert but sure it will be painful to take such a big bullet and won’t be able to move your leg easily. He should be investigated by fbi.

not only that, but the first responders didn’t even cut off his pants leg to see the extent of the damage to his leg and thigh, where his femoral artery is, so, yeah, he wasn’t shot in the leg with an AK. Now, how exactly that fits into the story is still up for debate but his wound is not real (cell phone stopped an AK round at close range? bullshit)

With Dozens injured you have to ask; Who was doing the triage that this guy goes out first? Surely there are others more critical than he to take the first ambulance. Many of the people I have been talking about this here says, that there is some odd things about this terror attack. First of all he changes clothes during the shooting 4-5 times, and he manages to escape, without detection, in an area with plenty of police surveillance, and very limited escape routes. Both Arabic real estate investment and tourism will decline because of this.

This will aid in the plunge of Turkish economy to the basement, and probably further destabilize it politically.
