When my father takes office as the 45th President of the United States of America, I will take a formal leave of absence from The Trump Organization and my eponymous apparel and accessories brand. I will no longer be involved with the management or operations of either company.

I have appointed Abigail Klem as president to lead my brand. She will work with a board of trustees to manage the strategic and day-to-day operations of the business; I am confident that under her leadership the company will continue creating smart, solution-oriented product and content. My brothers will oversee The Trump Organization, and I know that in their capable hands the business will thrive.

My husband, Jared, and I will be moving with our family to Washington, D.C., where Jared will serve as Senior Advisor to the President. I plan to take time to settle our three young children into their new home and schools.

I'm grateful for the overwhelming amount of outreach I've received from people all across America who have shared their stories and offered to extend their ideas and expertise in the areas I am deeply passionate about, including the education and empowerment of women and girls; leveling the playing field for female entrepreneurs and job creators and unleashing the potential of women in the workplace. I am eager to hear more from them as I determine the most impactful and appropriate ways for me to serve our country.

The president-elect has already quit as head of his business, but that still wasn’t enough for the left. Yes, they said, but what about his children? Weren’t they still with the organization that bore their father’s name?
Well, much of that argument just got taken away, too. According to a report from CNBC (http://beforeitsnews.com/r2/?url=http://www.cnbc.com/2017/01/09/trumps-son-in-law-kushner-will-be-named-senior-advisor-to-the-president-senior-transition-official.html), first daughter Ivanka Trump will resign from any officer or director roles she holds with the company and will divest or restructure her investments and holdings.

Her husband, Jared Kushner (http://beforeitsnews.com/r2/?url=http://conservativetribune.com/trump-obama-hard-inauguration/), has been tapped for a senior adviser role to her father.
That, according to CNN (http://beforeitsnews.com/r2/?url=http://edition.cnn.com/2017/01/09/politics/jared-kushner-to-be-named-senior-adviser-to-the-president/index.html), already had Democrats jumping on the obstructionist bandwagon.
“There is a strong case to be made that the White House is an ‘agency’ for purposes of the anti-nepotism statute and that it would apply to bar Mr. Kushner’s appointment as a White House staff member,” Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., said in a statement released Monday.
Trump attorney Jamie Gorelick, however, said that the White House offices Kushner would be working under were not covered by anti-nepotism laws.

“We have the better argument,” Gorelick said. “We are very confident in this position.”
It’s yet another piece of proof that the Democrats will stop at nothing to make Trump and his family (http://beforeitsnews.com/r2/?url=http://conservativetribune.com/family-announcement-trump-brand/) look bad.
It’s also proof that the Trumps are exceedingly good at taking the weapons of the left away from them.
