Shortly after Senators McCain and Graham issued their "joint statement on President Trump's Executive Order on immigration"...

U.S. Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) released the following statement today on the President’s executive order on immigration:

“Our government has a responsibility to defend our borders, but we must do so in a way that makes us safer and upholds all that is decent and exceptional about our nation.

“It is clear from the confusion at our airports across the nation that President Trump’s executive order was not properly vetted. We are particularly concerned by reports that this order went into effect with little to no consultation with the Departments of State, Defense, Justice, and Homeland Security.

“Such a hasty process risks harmful results. We should not stop green-card holders from returning to the country they call home. We should not stop those who have served as interpreters for our military and diplomats from seeking refuge in the country they risked their lives to help. And we should not turn our backs on those refugees who have been shown through extensive vetting to pose no demonstrable threat to our nation, and who have suffered unspeakable horrors, most of them women and children.

“Ultimately, we fear this executive order will become a self-inflicted wound in the fight against terrorism. At this very moment, American troops are fighting side-by-side with our Iraqi partners to defeat ISIL. But this executive order bans Iraqi pilots from coming to military bases in Arizona to fight our common enemies. Our most important allies in the fight against ISIL are the vast majority of Muslims who reject its apocalyptic ideology of hatred. This executive order sends a signal, intended or not, that America does not want Muslims coming into our country. That is why we fear this executive order may do more to help terrorist recruitment than improve our security.”

President Trump decided to let them have it...

The joint statement of former presidential candidates John McCain & Lindsey Graham is wrong - they are sadly weak on immigration. The two...

...Senators should focus their energies on ISIS, illegal immigration and border security instead of always looking to start World War III.

Hard to argue with that!

It staggers the mind that people can come up with this B.S. and others nod their heads in agreement. The laws of the US already allow for people with Green cards to enter the US and re enter the US. Nothing Trump did changes that. The laws of the US already allow for "friends" of the US from war torn countries to be given sanctuary int he US. Nothing Trump did changes that. The laws of the US already allow for thoroughly vetted refuges to be given sanctuary in the US from persecution. Nothing Trump did changes that.

The Laws of the US do not allow for undocumented, unknown and potentially dangerous people going to the US by illegal unvetted channels to either take a US Nationals job and not pay taxes, take a US Nationals healthcare and not pay taxes, take any benefit that is due a US national and not contribute to the country in any way.

But these guys write a spiel saying that Trump has done the opposite of what the laws say and do when it is in fact them who say and want to do the opposite of what the law states. They are truly psychopaths. At the least they belong in a facility for the criminally insane.

The Kosher tool Donald Crump has not only not reversed the HNIC's deployments of US military forces to the Russian border - he's increased it.

Projecting strength is a good way to keep the peace.

No one understands this better than Putin.

Projecting strength is a good way to keep the peace.

No one understands this better than Putin.

So Putin should put some IRBMs back in Cuba? Last time that happened, Washington shrieked: "our backyard, our backyard!"

Eastern Europe is Russia's sphere of influence. This is not a "show of strength," but a deliberate provocation and threat.

Putin could have taken over Ukraine if he wanted it. Instead, he took back stolen property (Crimea) and returned it to Russia. He is no "threat" to the Baltics or Poland. Remember: the Washington Criminals overthrew the elected leader of Ukraine. The Russians have every reason to consider the Americans and NATO hostile. Leaving US forces right where they were, in Germany, was good enough. America promised Russia there would be no encroachment of NATO into Russia's sphere. That promise was broken, and now the threat is even worse.

I wonder if the Americans (and Polacks) are regretting stealing East Prussia from Germany* and letting the Russians control the northern half? (Kaliningrad Oblast, chock full of SRBMs aimed at NATO targets, LOL)

* Northern East Prussia is not "legally" part of Russia: http://www.lituanus.org/1992_1/92_1_02.htm
