'Badge of Honor': Cincinnati Mayor Vows to Keep Sanctuary City Policies

Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley announced Monday that the city would remain a sanctuary city for undocumented immigrants.
"We have put the whole world on notice that we intend to live up to the Statue of Liberty ideals," said Cranley, adding that being a sanctuary city is "a badge of honor."
Cincinnati has already been a sanctuary city, and Monday's announcement reaffirms the city's position.

Though Trump has threatened to withhold federal funding from jurisdictions that do not comply with immigration officials, Cranley said he doesn't believe it.
