Although US/Nato can do massive damage to Iran, even as a rubble pile, they will be a foe that does not give up or ever submit - it will be permanent war, and they have friends. Israel will not survive if Iran is attacked with full scale war. I'm sure Israel realizes this, which is why Iran has not been attacked, even though Israel has talked tough about Iran for decades. Being 3 times bigger than Iraq, with China and Russia as allies - makes for a big deterrent. They might be big enough to give up the petro dollar without full scale war - smaller countries aren't so lucky.
