EXCLUSIVE: White House Fingers John McCain As Media Leak; Believes U.S. Senator Eavesdropped on Trump’s Classified Phone
Posted on February 21, 2017 by Investigative Bureau

This could be the beginning of the end for embattled Sen. John McCain’s life in politics. According to White House officials, McCain is believed to have somehow gained access to the content of President Donald Trump’s private, classified telephone calls with world leaders. And he isn’t keeping quiet about what was talked about either.

An analysis of McCain’s recent public statements by White House officials, coupled with information from intelligence personnel working with the Trump administration, paints a disturbing picture for McCain — or any elected U.S. politician. Officials believe the senator has inside knowledge of a number of President Trump’s telephone conversations, including at least one conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Even more alarming, officials believe McCain is secretly sharing this sensitive information with colleagues and his cabal of friendly mainstream media journalists in a dangerous clandestine campaign to damage Trump’s presidency even before it has a chance to succeed. Trump has been searching for media rats in the Beltway in recent weeks. White House aides are confident they have now outed one of the major leaks plaguing the early days of the Trump presidency. To everyone’s surprise, it is a senior senator supposedly belonging to the same side of the political aisle as the president.

McCain has been lambasting Trump to anyone and everyone who will listen since the newly minted president’s inauguration. This includes a Russian comedian who pranked McCain posing as Ukraine Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman. Even during that troubling conversation, where McCain shared sensitive U.S. intelligence with an imposter, White House aides said McCain unknowingly exposed himself as having inside knowledge of Trump’s telephone conversations.

“He has been given transcripts or actually listened to the calls and is sharing what he has heard,” an administration insider said. “There is no doubt. He is one of the major leaks.”

Just last week, True Pundit published a troubling account of how a Russian comedian duped McCain, the Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee. McCain incredibly even coached the phone-prankster-posing Prime Minister on joining NATO.

This audio recording of the phone call is absolutely incredible.

It’s time for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to determine the level McCain’s involvement and just how many laws he has broken.

His time has come, he is done.

I wouldn't assume he is done yet... Trump hasn't appeared to be on particular firm footing the last couple of weeks. The leaks have probably been contributing to this. But I think McCain, probably has somewhere between half to two-thirds of upper republican leadership behind him, and probably it will take some time before he can take him on effectively. He should just nibble away on the smaller treasonous scumbags within the republican establishment, to weaken McCain's powerbase.

Take him on my ass!!! Who the flying fuck is he??? He broke the law and betrayed the country. I don't give a rat's ass who's 'behind' him. He's a traitor and should be arrested. If any of his buddies want to challenge that then arrest them too. This shit has stood long enough!!!

I dont think Obama, McCain or Trump have any clue what is going on and they're all being played by a Pied Piper to Silenceville.

Probably Goldman Sachs, but only time will tell.

Those dudes are never guilty, apparently. Somehow both or any political/reform party U.S. always ends up 1/2 weak.

There are many who "should" be arrested long time ago for treason and other crimes, but because of their position within political cartels, they are protected. Clinton/Bush/Obama certainly should be arrested with a large part of their administrations. But if Trump administration pursued such a path they would very soon lose all the power they think they have and be put in jail themselves. That is the reality.

Secret kept from the president?

McCain made secret trip to Syria
BY MALLORY SHELBOURNE - 02/22/17 04:45 PM EST 82

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) secretly visited the Kurdish-held region of Syria during a trip to the Middle East last weekend to meet with United States military officials, The Wall Street Journal reported.

A spokeswoman for McCain later confirmed the trip in a statement, as reported by NBC News.

“Senator McCain traveled to northern Syria last week to visit U.S. forces deployed there and to discuss the counter-ISIL campaign and ongoing operations to retake Raqqa,” the spokeswoman said, using an alternate acronym for the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

“Senator McCain’s visit was a valuable opportunity to assess dynamic conditions on the ground in Syria and Iraq. President Trump has rightly ordered a review of the U.S. strategy and plans to defeat ISIL.”

McCain, who chairs the Senate Armed Services Committee and was an outspoken critic of the Obama administration’s Syria policy, traveled to the town of Kobane, which sits on the Syrian side of the Turkish-Syrian border.

The town in 2014 was under siege by ISIS forces, which were successfully pushed out of the city by the Syrian Kurds, also know as the People’s Protection Units (YPG).

McCain’s trip comes as the U.S. military analyzes various options to oust ISIS from its Syrian stronghold in Raqqa, which it has held since January of 2014.

Earlier this month, The Washington Post reported that the Obama administration had devised a plan to oust ISIS from Raqqa, which included arming Syrian Kurdish forces. Trump's administration, when it came into power, believed the plan had “huge gaps in it,” according to a senior Trump official who spoke to the newspaper.

The Pentagon on Tuesday said that next week it would send the White House a strategy to defeat ISIS.

“It will address ISIS globally, and it is not just a [Department of Defense] plan,” said Navy Capt. Jeff Davis, the Pentagon spokesman. “We’re charged with leading the development of the plan, but it absolutely calls upon the capabilities of other departments.”

McCain, who supported arming moderate opposition groups in the early days of the Syrian civil war, previously visited Syria in 2013 to meet with members of the Free Syrian Army.

Lawmakers do not travel to Syria often, as the country has been embroiled in a civil war since 2011, with various rebel groups and Islamist groups fighting both the regime of President Bashar al-Assad and each other.

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii), who was critical of United States policy to arm moderate opposition groups fighting in the civil war, said last month that she met with Assad during her own secret trip to the war-torn country.

Following his stop in Syria, McCain met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has been pushing Trump not to arm the Syrian Kurdish forces. Sources in Erdogan’s circle told Reuters earlier this month that the president in a phone call told Trump not to arm the YPG.

Turkey has been embroiled in a years-long battle with Kurdish groups that it views as terrorists who are seeking independence from the Turkish state.
