Without offering any evidence or providing the source of his information, Mr. Trump fired off a series of Twitter messages claiming that Mr. Obama “had my ‘wires tapped.’ ” He likened the supposed tapping to “Nixon/Watergate” and “McCarthyism.”

A spokesman for Mr. Obama said any suggestion that the former president had ordered such surveillance was “simply false.”

Mr. Trump’s aides declined to clarify whether the president’s explosive allegations were based on briefings from intelligence or law enforcement officials — which could mean that Mr. Trump was revealing previously unknown details about an investigation — or on something else, like a news report.


His decision to lend the power of his office to such a charged claim against his predecessor — without offering any initial proof — was remarkable, even for a leader who has repeatedly shown himself willing to make assertions that are false or based on dubious sources.

It would have been difficult for federal agents, working within the law, to obtain a wiretap order to target Mr. Trump’s phone conversations. It would have meant that the Justice Department had gathered sufficient evidence to persuade a federal judge that there was probable cause to believe he had committed a serious crime or was an agent of a foreign power, depending on whether it was a criminal investigation or a foreign intelligence one.

Former officials pointed to longstanding laws and procedures intended to ensure that presidents cannot wiretap a rival for political purposes.

“A cardinal rule of the Obama administration was that no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice,” said Kevin Lewis, a spokesman for Mr. Obama. “As part of that practice, neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any U.S. citizen.”
But a senior White House official said that Donald F. McGahn II, the president’s chief counsel, was working on Saturday to secure access to what Mr. McGahn believed was an order issued by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court authorizing some form of surveillance related to Mr. Trump and his associates.

The official offered no evidence to support the notion that such an order exists. If one does, it would be highly unusual for a White House to order the Justice Department to turn over such an investigative document, given the traditional independence of law enforcement matters.

It has been widely reported that there is a federal investigation, which began during the 2016 presidential campaign, into links between Trump associates and the Russians. That issue has dogged Mr. Trump for months.

In one message, which Mr. Trump sent from his Palm Beach, Fla., estate at 6:35 a.m., the president said he had “just found out” that his phones had been tapped before the election. Mr. Trump’s reference to “wires tapped” raised the possibility that he was referring to some other type of electronic surveillance and was using the idea of phone tapping loosely.

The Breitbart article, published on Friday, claimed that there was a series of “known steps taken by President Barack Obama’s administration in its last months to undermine Donald Trump (http://www.nytimes.com/topic/person/donald-trump?inline=nyt-per)’s presidential campaign and, later, his new administration.”

If Mr. Trump was motivated to take to Twitter after reading the Breitbart article or listening to Mr. Levin, he was using a presidential megaphone to spread dark theories of a broad conspiracy aimed at undermining his presidential ambitions, and later his presidency.

Even with the Breitbart article circulating, several of Mr. Trump’s advisers were stunned by the president’s morning Twitter outburst. Those advisers said they were uncertain about what specifically Mr. Trump was referring to; one surmised that he may also have been referring to a months-old news report about a secret surveillance warrant for communications at his New York offices.

One senior law enforcement official from the Obama administration, who has direct knowledge of the F.B.I. investigation into Russia and of government wiretapping, said that it was “100 percent untrue” that the government had wiretapped Mr. Trump. The official, who asked for anonymity to discuss matters related to investigations and intelligence, said the White House owed the American people an explanation for the president’s allegations.

Ben Rhodes, a former top national security aide to Mr. Obama, said in a Twitter message directed at Mr. Trump on Saturday that “no president can order a wiretap” and added, “Those restrictions were put in place to protect citizens from people like you.”

The House and Senate Intelligence Committees are moving forward with their own investigations into Russia’s efforts to influence the election, and they have said they will examine links between Mr. Trump’s associates and the Russians.

Senator Chris Coons, Democrat of Delaware, said on Friday that he believed there were “transcripts” that would help document those contacts, though he said he had not yet seen them.

In a written statement on Saturday, a spokesman for Mr. Coons said that the senator “did not imply that he is aware of transcripts indicating collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians.” The spokesman, Sean Coit, said Mr. Coons “simply stated that a full review of all relevant transcripts and intelligence intercepts is necessary to determine if collusion took place.”

The New York Times reported in January that among the associates whose links to Russia are being scrutinized are Paul Manafort, Mr. Trump’s onetime campaign chairman; Carter Page, a businessman and foreign policy adviser to the campaign; and Roger Stone, a longtime Republican operative who said he was in touch with WikiLeaks at one point before it released a trove of emails from John D. Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, last August. Mr. Stone later said he had communicated with WikiLeaks through an intermediary.

Mr. Trump appeared on Saturday to suggest that warrants had been issued by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. He claimed that the Obama administration had once been “turned down by court” in its supposed efforts to listen in on conversations by Mr. Trump and his associates.


In the fall, the F.B.I. examined computer data showing an odd stream of activity between a Trump Organization server and Alfa Bank, one of Russia’s biggest banks, whose owners have longstanding ties to Mr. Putin. While some F.B.I. officials initially believed that the computer activity indicated an encrypted channel between Moscow and New York, the bureau ultimately moved away from that view. The activity remains unexplained.

There is no confirmed evidence that the F.B.I. obtained a court warrant to wiretap the Trump Organization or was capturing communications directly from the Trump Organization.

During the transition, the F.B.I. — which uses FISA warrants to eavesdrop on the communications of foreign leaders inside the United States — overheard conversations between the Russian ambassador to the United States and Michael T. Flynn, whom Mr. Trump had named national security adviser.
Mr. Trump has pointedly and repeatedly questioned in conversations how it was that Mr. Flynn’s conversations were recorded, and wondered who could have issued a warrant.

After The Washington Post reported that Mr. Flynn and the ambassador, Sergey I. Kislyak, had discussed sanctions that the Obama administration had just imposed on Russia, Mr. Flynn was pushed out of his post by the White House because he had lied to Vice President Mike Pence about the nature of the calls.

The Breitbart article cited mainstream news reports and concluded — going beyond the public record — that the Obama administration had “obtained authorization to eavesdrop on the Trump campaign; continued monitoring the Trump team even when no evidence of wrongdoing was found; then relaxed the N.S.A. rules to allow evidence to be shared widely within the government.”

Mr. Levin, a day earlier, railed about what he called a “much bigger scandal,” claiming — again with no evidence — that Mr. Obama and his aides had used “the instrumentalities of the federal government, intelligence activity, to surveil members of the Trump campaign and put that information out in the public.”
Several senior members of Mr. Trump’s White House staff, including his spokesman, Sean Spicer, did not respond to an email requesting on-the-record responses to more than a half-dozen questions about Mr. Trump’s Twitter posts.

Representative Adam B. Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, denounced the “willingness of the nation’s chief executive to make the most outlandish and destructive claims without providing a scintilla of evidence to support them.”
Even some Republican lawmakers questioned Mr. Trump’s accusations. Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska issued a statement demanding that the president reveal everything he knows about any wiretaps or warrants.

“The president today made some very serious allegations, and the informed citizens that a republic requires deserve more information,” Mr. Sasse said, adding that “we are in the midst of a civilization-warping crisis of public trust.”

Taping calls seems to hold a spot in Mr. Trump’s consciousness. He spent many years taping his own phone calls as a businessman. During the campaign, Mr. Trump’s staff members told reporters they feared that their offices were being bugged.
But Mr. Trump’s latest allegations represented a sharp change in his tone toward Mr. Obama.

The current president has frequently spoken about how much he admires Mr. Obama for the gracious way he handled the transition. But since taking office, Mr. Trump has frequently clashed with the intelligence agencies over the Russia inquiries, including efforts to examine the attempts by that country to influence the presidential election and the contacts between Mr. Trump’s aides and the Russian government.

In recent days, the president has appeared increasingly angry about leaks of information that he believes are coming from law enforcement and intelligence officials who are holdovers or recently departed from Mr. Obama’s administration.

People close to Mr. Trump have described him as determined to stop those people from sabotaging his administration. One adviser said on Friday that the president had been discussing a possible plan to try to prevent leaks from occurring. The adviser declined to elaborate on what the plan might entail.
Two senior administration officials said Mr. Trump had tried for two days to find a way to be on an offensive footing against the news articles resulting from leaks; one person close to Mr. Trump said his explosive claim was a result of that.

Mr. Trump’s mood was said to be volatile even before he departed for his weekend in Florida, with an episode in which he vented at his staff. The president’s ire was trained in particular on Mr. McGahn, his White House counsel, according to two people briefed on the matter.

Mr. Trump was said to be frustrated about the decision by Jeff Sessions, his attorney general, to recuse himself from participating in any investigations of connections between the Trump campaign and Russia. Mr. Trump has said there were no such connections. Mr. Trump, who did not learn that Mr. Sessions was recusing himself until after the decision was made, told aides that it gave an opening to his critics on the Russia issue.

Seems Trump would not tweet this unless he knew it to be a fact.

I understand a sitting president, Obama in this case at the time, must go to the FISA court and get a warrant to do such a wire tap.

I do not know if that happened. I have read even if a FISA permit was issued, the tapping was strictly illegal and the FISA warrant was illegally issued.

If this tapping was definitely a crime and Obama or anyone in his administration definitely did this, it seems to me that Trump would have to file charges immediately and only secondarily bother with putting out the tweet.

The tweets of Donald Trump are some kind of power game going on at the top levels to elicit certain responses of the other side but somehow it all seems beneath the dignity of the office of POTUS to me.

The Left and the Democrat Party has taken a hard turn Left and I can see a big split, even in local community relations and conversations with neighbors, friends, etc.

Senator Joseph McCarthy was spot on about the heavy infestation of communists in the top levels of our government, State Dept. Foggy Bottom being the worst of the worst, and in all segments of our society, including Hollywood screenplays / movies as well as higher education.

McCarthy's hiring of Roy Cohn, homosexual Jew top NY attorney, appears to be something sort of foisted on him but I think it is why McCarthy's good work was never carried to its full fruition in routing out the commies in our government. Also McCarthy was an Irishman and they seem to have a genetic over-fondness for alcoholic beverage and he died fairly young perhaps do that addiction, but also not to be ruled out - knocked off by the Left.

What is so strange is that a big part of McCarthy's early work was routing out homosexuals in top government positions. At the time of the early 1950s homosexuals were considered highly blackmailable and compromisable and were kept out of military and top levels of government that handle classified information. So McCarthy house cleaning concurrently swept out homos and commies which his top lawyer, was a homo and maybe also a commie.

One problem I see is that Trump is a New York City fixture and that is mainly a Jewish Left Wing, war mongering, foreign policy manipulating cabal. From here they will back stab Trump and oust him, this now probably equals game over. Americans now get to witness a totally failed government that is so infiltrated and usurped that there is no way to take it back. 3. The enemy entirely owns all media that can come across a television or Facebook, except in very limited "we have to prove we are not totally censored" 3 cent hand outs to provide a thin veil of legitimacy with regard to openness. Forget Fox News, they'd never come clean on 911 and absent that they are as bad as the rest of them and exist only to pander to concerned Americans while providing a phoney alternate view.

4. The enemy entirely owns all mainstream medicine and is using mainstream medicine to destroy the population. Be it tainted vaccines, antidepressants, ridiculously over priced medical that is like a knife to the throat and casts people into poverty for things that elsewhere are simple cures and treatments, outright sabotage of health leading to cancers and many other maladies, corruption of alternate cures even in mainstream pharmacies which test out as completely fake while sold at top dollar, the list goes on and on. There is no way to fix the medical system, it like the previous 3 items needs to be completely trashed. If you can't trust your doctor because he's a big pharma sell out, it is time to hit reboot.

5. The enemy is currently making ALL computing platforms, and if anyone steps into the scene with anything new that is not completely hacked and can compete, they are either blocked from stores like the Amiga, or simply killed like Steve Jobs, who was actually a decent guy. You can forget the future of computers, I'd say if you want anything decent get an old Athlon thunderbird, rip the wifi out and run it offline with late 90's or early 2000's software only. The internet will soon be useless anyway, Google is working hard on that.

6. We currently live in a world where everyone carries a spy device that is the NSA's lucid dream. If you can't even convince a conspiracy theorist to not carry a smart phone there will be no civil war and no taking back of society, and that really is where we are. The takeover is so complete that the people who would stand a chance will not have a chance because one of their favorite toys will make that impossible. And if it is not the NSA stopping them, they will be stopped by the Mossad after everything they do gets routed through Israel's own intelligence, or whatever intelligence their own phone carrier has set up. We are so hopelessly screwed by the smart phone that there is rationally no way out of it.



PREDICITION: If the FBI is so corrupt it can just shut down Trump from exposing another watergate, it is GAME OVER. We actually need those people to take this country back, rather than away from us. With the FBI, CIA, and NSA as our enemy, as well as the judicial branch and other agencies like the EPA and DHS, and the police departments unilaterally standing down during riots rather than defending the people they are supposed to protect and serve, the writing is on the wall. A new report (https://politicalwire.com/2017/01/10/mccain-gave-fbi-documents-trump/)released today features both the FBI seeking to launch a surveillance operation against an active US presidential campaign, and the ultra-rare case of the FISA courts actually turning down an FBI request to conduct surveillance against somebody.

The report, originating at the Guardian, claims that the FBI had sought broad surveillance powers over four high-ranking members of President-elect Donald Trump’s campaign during the election, claiming them to have had contact with Russian officials. The FISA court turned the request down, telling investigators they needed to narrow the request.

Though the four are not directly named in the report, it is related to claims in a dossier of Russia having substantial blackmail dirt on Trump, and that dossier centered heavily around accusations against a handful of Trump campaign personnel, including Carter Page, Paul Manafort, and Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, along with Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen, meaning some of them may well be among the targets.

Secondary reports speculated that the FBI may well have sought a more narrow application for surveillance, though details on that are even less clear than the previous reports. Though a lot of these reports don’t end up substantiated, if true this could well add to the expected acrimony between the incoming administration and the intelligence community.

The dots are slowly being connected regarding the Obama surveillance scandal, and it’s not looking good for Barack. The evidence is mounting there was a massive conspiracy to hurt President Trump.

On June 27th of 2016, Bill Clinton met secretly with Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This scandal, with so many unanswered questions, has not been resolved.


Lynch did recuse herself from the Clinton email scandal. However new evidence suggests that meeting wasn’t about whether Hillary would go to prison, but one with a more insidious intent.
Right after this meeting, Loretta Lynch made her first FISA request to tap Trump’s phones. Let that sink in for a minute. Bill Clinton has a secret meeting with the one person in the world who can, all by herself, derail Trump’s campaign.


Which would have installed, not elected Hillary to the highest office in the land. Hillary Clinton would have become the most powerful person in the world. The Clinton cash machine would go on raking it in after all those warrants and subpoena’s got tossed in the garbage.


What’s really interesting is the FISA request was denied. That court has declined just 11 of the more than 33,900 surveillance requests made by the government.



The FISA court has denied just .03% of all government FISA requests. That means Lynch’s request, which came after meeting with Bill Clinton, was a piece of garbage. It was a clear attempt to use the Justice department to go after a political opponent.


Fast forward to October 2016. As the presidential race tightened and Hillary started to panic, another request from the Obama admin to tap Trump’s phones was submitted to the FISA court.
This was granted because there was a story swirling around that Russian dossier and a computer server at Trump tower being linked to a Russian bank.


No evidence was found, the rumors unfounded, but the wiretaps continued. Andrew McCarthy of the National Review summed it up perfectly,
“The Obama administration was monitoring an opposing presidential campaign using the high-tech surveillance powers of the federal intelligence services.”



This demands an investigation. And if true, will be the biggest scandal in US history.

The Wire Tapping thing itself is very very old. It goes on in probably all state governments and state houses since tapable wires have existed. It goes on in state capitols as well as state agencies all year long every year but it ramps up during election season.

I have many questions about Trump's tweet regarding his offices being wiretapped by Obama team.

Does Trump truly want a legal and official investigation of a crime?

We assume the President does have indisputable proof that constitutes legal evidence.

We assume that the real source of the facts is in the proof that Trump possesses. This looks like a "leak" but it is not a leak by "anonymous sources." The source is the POTUS and in this matter, the POTUS is the entity that would and does have legal access to the evidence. At this point no other entity has access to the evidence. I would think that the FBI could get access to the evidence we assume Trump already has but the FBI as well as the DOJ would have to be officially charged with conducting an official legal investigation. That "charging to conduct an investigation" does not appear at this point to be what Trump is seeking. Trump must have some other reason for Tweeting what he did.

I am not exactly sure how evidence gathering would work in this instance because if there is an official investigation of a crime, it is the victim, the POTUS, who is the alleged victim of the crime who possesses the evidence of the crime and there is presumably not stronger evidence one way or the other that could trump Trump's evidence. Surely it cannot be that the President would have to hand over to the investigators the evidence that he has in his hands because he is the president.

I think it is pretty safe to assume that Trump thinks there are still some Obama holdovers as federal prosecutors at the DOJ and several key people still in the FBI, so I cannot see how Trump's number one goal at this time is to get the ball rolling toward an indictment that would have to start with a legal investigation by the DOB and FBI.

Late yesterday, a New York Times report indicated FBI Director James Comey asked that a statement be made from the DOJ to repudiate President Trump’s claims that Mr. Trump’s home and offices were under surveillance by the Obama government during the 2016 Election. The NYT claim was then quickly repeated by other Mainstream Media outlets in order to turn a claim into a fact.
That’s how fake news works, because guess what?

As of this writing, James Comey has actually said no such thing. At least not publicly.



The NYT piece cited “senior U.S. officials” as the source for their quickly assembled story to provide push-back against the president’s claims of Obama wiretapping.
There was no actual statement or quote from Director Comey himself. In fact, both the FBI and the DOJ refused to comment.

RUSH: Before proceeding here on the investigatory efforts of the Obama Regime against Trump, I want to take just a brief diversion back to the New York Times story on January 20th, 2017. Remember, this is the story — and we could get the actual cutout of the front page that day and put it at RushLimbaugh.com. But the headline: “Wiretapped Data Used in Inquiry of Trump Aides.”

Folks, I mean, the idea that Trump’s allegation here is absurd, I’m telling you, there is far, far more substance to what Trump is alleging than the entire thing that the Democrats and the media are alleging. Now, I want to share something with you about the actual story accompanying this headline, “Wiretapped Data Used in Inquiry of Trump Aides.” And this comes from a blog called Yid With Lid. “In January Michael S. Schmidt perpetuated the rumor that team Trump had Russian connections, and to support his point he said that Trump’s people were wiretapped –” Michael S. Schmidt in the New York Times perpetuating the rumor that Trump had Russian connections and maybe affected the election, “and to support his point he said that Trump’s people were wiretapped.”

Well, how does he know? Somebody in the Regime, in the outgoing Regime, somebody had to share with him the data on the wiretaps, somebody had to tell him there were wiretaps, somebody had to tell him what the wiretaps had produced, ’cause he’s writing about it in the New York Times. But yet when Trump over the weekend claims they were wiretapped, this same guy, Michael S. Schmidt who wrote the piece in January, said there was no evidence that Trump had been wiretapped.

Now, folks, January 20th, New York Times, Michael Schmidt wrote that team Trump had Russia connections, and to support his point, said that Trump’s people were wiretapped, and that’s in the New York Times in January. So Trump tweets over the weekend that Obama’s wiretapping him, and how low that is and what Trump thinks of it and so forth. This same reporter comes back and says there’s no evidence of that. Trump’s a lunatic. There’s no evidence that. Trump’s insane.

Well, now how can this be? The New York Times has the word “wiretapped” in a headline. The writer, one of three on the piece, claims that Trump had Russian connections and to support the point, he said that Trump’s people were wiretapped. So Trump comes along, “Yeah, I was wiretapped.” Same reporter: “There’s no evidence of that.” Now, what’s going on at the New York Times? How in the world — do they know what they’re doing or did they just forget what they did? Are they so obsessed with hatred — and that’s what the Democrat Party and the left has become, folks.

If you’ve ever wondered what hate in politics looks like, if you’ve ever wondered what a hate group is, don’t listen to that Looney Toon at the Southern Poverty Law Center. Just listen to the people on the left, because this is pure, undiluted, raw hatred, and it is for Donald Trump and everybody who voted for him. Raw hatred does not build a movement. Raw hatred does not build success. Raw hatred destroys. Raw hatred is destructive.

These people at the New York Times write in January that Trump was wiretapped and that’s why we know he was working with the Russians. A month and a half later, Trump claims Obama wiretapped him, and the New York Times writer says, “There’s no evidence of that.” Well, was there no evidence when you wrote about it in January or did you forget what you wrote in January? Is it your raw hatred for Trump, your raw resentment at having lost, is that what’s causing you to lose every ounce of credibility, morality, authority, and credibility that you’ve got?

It’s not Trump who has some explaining to do. It’s not you who voted for Trump who have some explaining to do. You don’t need to justify yourselves, nor does Trump. But the people running this silent coup, the people in the media trying to unseat, trying to damage, trying to sabotage Trump, they have a lot of explaining to do.

And it’s only going to get worse because it is obvious that there’s nothing factual or very little that’s factual that is backing up everything these people are using to try to destroy Trump. It’s nothing but pure, raw hatred, and it’s on display for everybody to see.

The rumor is that the Court was very concerned this was a witch hunt by Obama without any evidence that was akin to Watergate.
Then in October 2016 before the election, the Obama administration submitted a new request that was more narrow to the FISA court which targeted a computer server in Trump Tower they alleged would show links to Russian banks. No such evidence was found and indeed it was a witch-hunt. However, the wiretaps continued claiming it was for national security to try to distinguish this from Watergate.

I always thought that you had to have an investigation first and then the prosecution comes based on the outcome of the investigation.

I am coming to see that Trump wants the Congress to be the entity conducting the investigation.

But I am still not sure if Trump aims for indictment and prosecution.

It is possible Trump seeks to gain by

and

getting the investigation to take place in an open forum with all evidence and deliberations done out in the open, not behind closed door sessions. What I find interesting is the introduction into our current speech the term "Deep State". If we still had the rule of law and at least a chance for an honest trial, I would say that the right thing for Trump to be aiming for, and the only right thing, is an indictment, honest prosecution, and just trial.

This interview was very good with some good info about how CIA beureaucracy works and how there is a whole level of fairly high level employees in these major federal agencies that are still loyal to Democratic party. Said Trump needed to, needs to, get his guys in their right now. He has already waited too long to get these holdovers out.

The show was mainly about Vault 7 and that part was good but I did not like the way he said that the Vault 7 level leaks, whoever got them from the CIA, committed treason. Said leaks on lesser important subjects will not get any employee in any real trouble and they will, if identified, be able to keep their jobs.

There are some of us to still hope, as Dr. Steve Pacienyk states, that there are some insider good guys who are doing these major leaks to save the US republic. In that sense, it do not think treason is the issue here. If the republic goes down, and these big leaks would not be getting out if that were not an imminent probability, there will not longer be such a thing as treason or a courts of law anyway. Another reason I did not like some of the guests remarks were that he wreaks of "once CIA, always CIA." He was choosing his words very carefully. No bombshell current reveals here.

Hunter tried very much to get guest to comment on PizzaGate matters, and guest became extra circumspect then. I agree this story looks phony on several levels. But it does seem odd Clintons not under indictment yet. There is a ton of solid evidence against them even if you leave aside Haiti, child trafficking, pedophile spirit cooking and lolita express items.

Here is the best, most clear explanation of latest congressional hearing with Comey and questioning by Gowdy.

Comey is not investigating those he clearly should be investigating because he is protecting those the Deep State is ordering him to protect and is totally under the control of the Deep State. Both Comey and Gowdy are attorneys with excellent rhetorical skills and they choose their words very carefully. You almost have to have a dictionary at hand and look up every key word as Comey can be defining it, like what the meaning of is is.

The FBI is not an independent agency and has not been for a very long time. It was founded in 2009 but was led by J. Edgar Hoover who served as Director from 1924 to 1972, a combined 48 years with the BOI, DOI, and FBI. Hoover was a homosexual transvestite who collected dossiers on just about every power person in D.C. to use as blackmail material to have legislation go his way. That has to have had a lingering affect on the whole tenor of the way the FBI operates to this day.

I see developing, just as planned by TPTB, what I guess is called "dualism", that is, an us-versus-them, cowboys and indians, kind of civil war.

My innermost feeling is that I am not on either side in this civil war being cooked up and exacerbated. I was burned once by Fox TV News in about 2001 (9-11) to about 2007. Fox News is not on the side of right principles, and here I am not referring to "The Right Wing" or so-called "conservative" faction. There can be a really ugly aspect to "nationalism" "patriotism" "populism" "separation of church and state" and "freedoms" "liberties" "rights." There is deep error in "free markets" and economic libertarianism.

I sort of turned "conservative" back in the late 1990s listening to public access cable TV and John McMannus videos about the United Nations and the CFR and listening to Dr. Stan Monteith's radio shows, and yes, alas, listening to Alex Jones' public access cable TV shows in his very early days of broadcasting. I look back on all that now as being kind of a subtle manipulation even though these broadcasters may have themselves been "true believers." All in all, I feel I was fed more of the dualism, the us versus them thinking focused on this present world system where we battle freedom versus tyranny and totalitarianism.

The things I want to fight for and take a bold courageous stand for, and possibly risk my life for are not things of this world system and the things in the false ideals and principles continually foisted on the masses. I want to know, love, honor and serve the One True God Almighty in this world and be with Him in the next. That is what I want to increasingly be willing to stand up for and fight for. In other words, I want to know and live Truth and the One Who is Truth. Without Truth, there can never be justice.

Susan Rice Requested Unmasking of Incoming Trump Administration Officials

Susan Rice, who served as the National Security Adviser under President Obama, has been identified as the official who requested unmasking of incoming Trump officials, Cernovich Media can exclusively report.

The White House Counsel’s office identified Rice as the person responsible for the unmasking after examining Rice’s document log requests. The reports Rice requested to see are kept under tightly-controlled conditions. Each person must log her name before being granted access to them.

What’s striking about the Times story is the spin it took. Trump had previously claimed he had been “wire tapped” (quotation marks in his original Tweet), leading to media screams that he prove it. The Times’ own reporting proves that President Trump and his associates were spied on.

The Times, rather than admit Trump had been vindicated, instead focused its attention on the question of who leaked the reports to Nunes:
Since disclosing the existence of the intelligence reports, Mr. Nunes has refused to identify his sources, saying he needed to protect them so others would feel safe going to the committee with sensitive information. In his public comments, he has described his sources as whistle-blowers trying to expose wrongdoing at great risk to themselves.


Since when did journalists attempt to unmask sources? The Times, WaPo, and other outlets rely on anonymous sources in nearly every article about national security. It’s clear they have an agenda — that agenda is not telling the truth.

UPDATE:
After having read the Medium post which Cernovich just posted about this (https://medium.com/@Cernovich/susan-rice-requested-unmasking-of-incoming-trump-administration-officials-30085b5cff16), I now believe that he is most likely just guessing, based on already existing data and the fact that it has been revealed that it is a “high level, well-known” person. He is hoping that he’ll get credit for “breaking” this story. Maybe he does have a source, I don’t know, I’m just saying that I doubt it and I think he’s just guessing.

Cernovich is saying it.

Cernovich is apparently the source. And he is… sort of fake news, tbh. I mean, he’s at least not accurate a good percentage of the time, and hasn’t really demonstrated that he cares. That said, he definitely right more than he’s wrong, but for something like this, I wouldn’t be ready to just take his work for it.

However, the rest of the Alt-Lite Twittersphere – much of which generally has a better track record than Cernovich – is also saying it.

Bill Mitchell is saying it.

Microchip is saying it.

Jack Posobiec is saying it.

I don’t know if these guys are just talking about this because of the Cernovich claim, or if they have accessed info from somewhere else.

On Friday, Fox News’ Adam Housley claimed that Devin Nunes knows who did the unmasking.

Susan Rice is definitely high on the list of suspects.

So, I mean. Take this with a grain of salt.

Off the top of my head, if I had to just guess, I’d say there’s probably a 50% chance this is true.

Cernovich probably has some source for this – I doubt he’s just making it up – but I don’t think he is necessarily the discerning type. Also, I am certain he would risk being caught out reporting fake news on a relatively low chance he was going to break a major story.

If this turns out to be true, it’s huge for him, if it turns out not to be true, he just says “ah well, you know – bad sources.”

That having been said, I think it’s very possible someone with this info who was being ignored by the mainstream media would go to him.

So yeah. I’d say 50% chance.

Remember though, we’re not even talking about “who is responsible” – they’re all responsible. We’re just talking about who’s going to take the fall.

Decent reporting but some things I would like to know.

What is the sentence for felony for doing what Rice did?

It goes without saying that Obama was her commander and chief so if she is indicted and convicted, he must be also. If Rice is to be thrown under the bus, so must also be Obama.

Actually it is probably someone like Soros or someone higher up the food chain who ordered the unmasking, but its for sure that entity will not see the rule of law.

If the top rulers behind the scene want Rice and Obama to stay standing, and I would think that they do, but not because they care about them as people. The only thing THEY care about is their agenda.

I watched a very recent video of Stephan Molyneaux of Canada today in which twice in that presentation he said this entire spying on Trump and Rice doing the unmasking as being not actually specifically illegal.

Now, I do not like Molyneaux but that information rang true to me.

Even if anyone is caught dead to rights, there is nothing concrete legally speaking on which to indict anyone.

For several years we have been taught that

THEY are spying on all of us all the time every day,

THEY can do this legally because all laws have been relaxed to allow for this spying,

So one reasons that if these things are true, why is it specifically illegal, and even said to be felonious, to gather information on, that is , to spy, on certain people running for high political office of the party opposite of the party in the White House?

We are being bombarded these days from Fox News and other fake media outlets ...
Oh, ain't it awful? Isn't this totally off-the-charts outrageous? yadda yadda
Getting us all stirred up about this matter...
but never providing specific legal foundations of what is able to be pursued and prosecuted resulting in conviction and sentencing.

Always look for big pieces of missing information, what is not being told to us that is gnawing at our understanding of this.

This whole matter of spying on Trump could be viewed as another form of a "false flag attack" for various uses, but never just one use. These scenarios are always multi-purpose.

Records Sought by Judicial Watch May Remain Closed to the Public for Five Years (Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today announced that the National Security Council (NSC) on May 23, 2017, informed it by letter (http://www.judicialwatch.org/document-archive/nsc-unmasking-records-response/) that the materials regarding the unmasking by Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice of “the identities of any U.S. citizens associated with the Trump presidential campaign or transition team” have been removed to the Obama Library.


The NSC will not fulfill an April 4 Judicial Watch request for records regarding information relating to people “who were identified pursuant to intelligence collection activities.”
The agency also informed Judicial Watch that it would not turn over communications with any Intelligence Community member or agency concerning the alleged Russian involvement in the 2016 presidential election; the hacking of DNC computers; or the suspected communications between Russia and Trump campaign/transition officials.
