Don't question, just bring your kids to see it Goyim ! After all it is a "strong" character.

In the new Power Rangers film, the five colorful superheroes tackle much more than just evil aliens. The latest reboot of the popular ’90s show has the five rangers also dealing with several important topics facing teens today.

The film is getting much praise for addressing the issue of sexuality through the story of Yellow Ranger Trini, played by Becky G. (A warning: some spoilers ahead.) In one scene, the characters are opening up to each other about their daily struggles. The Black Ranger, Zack (Ludi Lin), asks Trini if she is dealing with “boyfriend problems.” He then realizes she may actually be having “girlfriend problems.” Trini does not object to this assumption and tells the group she is having difficulty with her family accepting her.
