Boy suspended after bringing shell casing to school

The casing was from a visit with the boy’s grandpa, who is a police officer

COLLINSVILLE, Ill. — A 4-year-old boy has been suspended after he brought an empty shell casing to school.

Kristy Jackson said she was confronted by a teacher when she picked up her son, Hunter, from school Tuesday. The teacher claimed Hunter had brought a shotgun bullet to the school, Fox 59 reported. Hunter told his mom he brought an empty shell casing - not a bullet - to school to show his friends.

Hunter picked up the empty .22 caliber casing after a recent target practice with his grandpa, who is a Caseyville police officer. Jackson said Hunter’s grandpa has made it a goal to teach Hunter about responsible gun use, the news station reported.

Hunter’s parents received a letter saying Hunter was suspended for seven days. It also stated Hunter has used other toys as “make-believe guns,” which is a violation of school policy.

“[Hunter] just was wandering around in a field and picked up and put it in his pocket and didn’t tell his parents,” Jackson said. “It’s something that’s become quite an epidemic where guns are automatically assumed that they’re bad…and I’m not sure how a 7-day suspension teaches my son anything about tolerance or anything about why he was wrong.”

The vice principal told the news station that Hunter was suspended for more than the shell casing, but couldn’t go into details due to confidentiality concerns.

Take it from someone who was suspended a lot in school, they'll use anything as an excuse to suspend you, even if the teacher doesn't like you they can and will suspend you. Then they'll hide behind the confidentiality bullshit.

they'll use anything as an excuse to suspend you

It is done to create an illusion that you really want to be there voluntarily. Pretty close to the same illusion that money is delivered and picked up in armored cars to protect it (as if there was any value inside). The illusion is presented to make you WANT whatever they are creating the illusion for.

It was a casing though, not a bullet. It was one of these:

This is the school indoctrination center:

I don't have much use for the parents, either, though:

He's 4. This doesn't hurt him, or teach him, or help him. Just his parents, who do not condone bringing these kinds of things to school. Ever. Had we known, we of course would have stopped it. But every time he or another child mentions a gun (like every boy I grew up with did) they punish him.

Sounds like they're leftists who buy into the (in this case, inert) inanimate objects are "deadly" lies. A shell casing is no different than a special rock the boy might want to share with his friends. I remember decades ago now my schoolmates having a grand old time sharing and talking about 5.56mm casings one of them picked up at a parade where the National Guardsmen had fired off blanks.

The hypocritical son of bitch owner/founder, Roy Jarmon, appears in a video here:

http://fox2now.com/2017/03/23/preschool-owner-says-suspension-of-4-year-old-over-more-than-bullet-casing/

“I’m a conceal – carry person myself. My children shoot guns. My wife can shoot a gun. Nobody here is afraid of guns.”

However, the video shows a letter from the director of the "school," Mallory Lengermann, stating, "Hunter has been told that hunting, guns, etc. are not subjects that are to be discussed at school."

Girl, 5, suspended for playing with 'stick gun'

HOKE COUNTY, N.C. --

Leaders with Hoke County Schools are standing by a policy that led to the suspension of a 5-year-old girl for communicating threats.

In this case, Caitlin was the guard protecting the royals and picked up the gun to imitate shooting an intruder into the kingdom.

"Hoke County Schools will not tolerate assaults, threats or harassment from any student. Any student engaging in such behavior will be removed from the classroom or school environment for as long as is necessary to provide a safe and orderly environment for learning," the school system says.
