from monty's link....establishment blood-thirsty warmongers rejoice:
...his departure from the NSC role was applauded by some Republicans as well as Democrats. Republican Represenative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida called it “welcome news” in a tweet.

First, Bannon was put on the NSC to undo Former National Security Advisor Susan Rice’s operationalization of the council. In fact, Bannon would have us believe that he chose to leave the NSC after this task was completed.
Second, Bannon was placed on the council to babysit Trump’s first National Security Advisor, Gen. Michael Flynn, who is no longer part of the picture.
Third, Bannon rarely, if ever, attended NSC meetings.

I think Trump is a "fail fast and fail often" kind of guy, meaning that he will change things that aren't working quickly. With the amount of time and energy Bannon is probably spending on policy issues and undoing all of Obama's work, the National Security Counsel thing was probably just too much. Its not something that can be done part time. I think the pressure and amount of work was too much and he either made mistakes when asked for advisement on security, or decided it wasn't for him.
Bannon now has a "strategic initiative" type of security role which sounds more like his type of thing. I imagine the NSC was more day-to-day information based on specific situations around the world.

Coincidence?
Or, NeoCons winning.
On the Same Day Bannon Removed From NSC, Trump Sabre Rattles War with Syria
This isn't what I signed up for. If it's Trump's intention to continue the neocon policies that have left this country indebted to its eyeballs fighting meaningless wars, costing the lives of America's bravest, count me out.
Bannon's removal at the NSC on the same day that Trump upped his rhetoric for war with Assad isn't a coincidence. Bannon has been an anti war advocate and wanted America out of the Middle East. Now here we are, being led down a ruinous road by 35 year old Jared Kushner and Trump's generals, positioning for conflict in Syria over a chemical weapons attack.
In regard to the chemical attack that has left dozens dead, many of whom were children, no one knows with certainty who was responsible. There is so much fuckery going on there, you'll drive yourself mad trying to figure it out.
Then there's this.

Steve Bannon: Kushner Is a ‘Cuck’
Donald Trump’s chief strategist Stephen Bannon (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2017/03/24/bannon-tells-trump-keep-a-shit-list-of-republicans-who-opposed-you.html) has called the president’s senior advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2017/03/28/jared-kushner-tempted-by-russia-s-bank-of-spies.html) a “cuck” and a “globalist” during a time of high tension between the two top aides, several Trump administration officials told The Daily Beast.
The fighting between Kushner and Bannon has been “nonstop” in recent weeks, according to sources who spoke on condition of anonymity. It’s been an “open secret” that Bannon and Kushner often clash “face-to-face,” according to senior officials.
One official said Bannon has lately complained about Kushner trying to “shiv him and push him out the door” and likened him to a fifth column in the White House.

Infighting... There is more to the picture than is leaked or told. Draining a swamp takes time to clean the muck from the drain holes. I think Trump is almost overwhelmed but then again you dont get to billionaire status by drinking and sleeping the days away.

For those who find it "impossible" or "ridiculous" to believe that Trump was and is controlled "opposition" from the start, a visionary warned the world how the Jew uses lies in ways you can't imagine, over 90 years ago:
All this was inspired by the principle - which is quite true in itself - that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying. These people know only too well how to use falsehood for the basest purposes. From time immemorial, however, the Jews have known better than any others how falsehood and calumny can be exploited.

spot on. I run into this all the time. trying to learn people something --- they can't fathom doing it themselves, so don't believe Skype are capable of it
this affliction has a first cousin: many people that don't know something automatically think new/conflicting information is false (because they don't know it)

If Bannon leaves, I think everyone turns on Trump.
Trump barely won the presidency. If he gets rid of Bannon and starts getting his policy from Kushner and Ivanka, he will be stabbing about half of his supporters, the core ones specifically, right in the back. He won't win reelection, his family name will be ruined, and Trump will be a curse word. Should be interesting to see if he is stupid enough to do that.

I think you overestimate the average Trump voter. Sure he'd lose one here and there, but most of his supporters aren't alt-righters. He may even get more votes if he distance himself from that.

I think Infowars, Breitbart, Michael Savage, Matt Drudge, 4chan, and discussion boards like ours collectively hold a massive amount of power. I think if he pisses these groups off he's going to have a hard time, unless the media does a 180 and starts strongly supporting him, which I don't think they could ever do. Even if Trump was doing what they want, somebody like a Clinton or McCain would always be favored by them.

I don't think media would do an 180 either, but they may stop smearing him with Russia fantasy hoax to try and impeach him if he distance himself from Bannon et al. He is after all now attacking Russian interests.
Despite breaking pretty much everything he promised or said prior to election, he may stay on as president, but he has to do what he is told, not what he told.

George Soros Backed Jared Kushner Venture Cadre With $250 Million
It turns out that George Soros is the money behind a new real estate venture called Cadre which was founded by Donald Trump’s son in law Jared Kushner and his brother Joshua Kushner.
The Real Deal has uncovered the fact that George Soros was the man who provided Cadre with a $259 million line of credit. A source told the publication, “Soros has had a long and productive relationship with the Kushner family.”
