Cars and other vehicles “have turned into deadly weapons”, and should be banished from cities to stop attacks like the one in Stockholm from happening in future, according to Aftonbladet editorialist Eva Franchell.

Crackdowns on immigration or extremist ideology are not the way forward when it comes to terror prevention, according to the veteran journalist, writing after Friday’s terror attack in Stockholm left four people dead.

I've been baffled a long time that almost no cities plan their infrastructure in such a way that pedestrians and vehicles operate on different levels. This would increase security, create a faster flow of traffic in chokepoints, and be better for the environment. It's not like it's something that is too difficult, advanced or costly.

I saw a video a while back about city planning in the UK and they had way back in the 60s plans for similar layouts for their city centers, but it never came into fruition. The plans looked futuristic even by todays standards.


Even in high-tech Japan they are still stopping everything to let pedestrians cross.

Sinead McCarthy of Renegade Broadcasting has ragged on the Pettibone sisters... but that's to be taken with a grain of salt as Sinead's quite the imperfect, catty shit disturber herself.

regardless, I don't much care what the Pettibone sisters' real story is... beyond their pretty faces, I've never found them extraordinarily insightful, nor excellent interviewers, etc... don't follow them at all really, unless an interview they do with someone I'm interested in, finds it's way under my nose.

It seems something odd about the sisters' rise to patriot/WN/etc marquis-name status, is quite suspect, as I'm just not aware of either of their 'accomplishments' meriting any status. Just another case of, pretty girl(s) + webcam + some nominal "strong political/social positions" = success?! No shortage of those types around. No story. I just ran across the video of theettibone twins. That jarred my memory that you had posted a comment about Tara McCarthy and the Pettibone girl being identical twins. I didn't watch the videos, like you I am not impressed with their interviews. Just copied the pics when I noticed the twins together.
