I saw that segment and Jones was making a point with some theatrics. I will give him the benefit of the doubt that the gun wasn't loaded. And as stated here his finger was outside the guard. I thought is was a gutsy brilliant maneuver which perfectly illustrated the heart of the problem. Put yourself in the position of having a hostile person (Kim/North Korea) pointing a loaded gun at you (nuclear weapons) to threaten and intimate. You (Trump), being responsible for your safety and that of your charge (American people and people of the world) must decide if this circumstance shall stand or be responded to, even with the risk of escalation.
