Hate to say it about my little loveys, but dachshunds living in stressful situation do regularly fight and do regularly engage in anal intercourse. Please no negative comments here because I am sure this behavior is not limited to one dog breed.
Over the years I have noticed some families that have young boy children who have an affinity for wearing dresses and playing with dolls at a very young age. I was getting ready for a garage sale and I had a flowery dress for sale and one of these little boys in the neighborhood, about 9 years old, while I was not looking took the dress off the rack and when I came back out to where I was working in the garage, he was wearing the flowing flowery dress. I ordered him to take it off immediately. One of the other young boys in the neighborhood at another time said about him with great disgust "oh, he wears dresses!."

The common denominator I have observed in these "nice families" when a young boy at early age starts showing signs of little girl behavior is REJECTION OF THAT BOY CHILD BY THE FATHER. This is just my observation and it does seem to play down the endocrine-disrupters theories though I believe there is substance to that theory too.
