Polyface farm is the name of this well-known farming operation by Joel Salatin, well known homesteader / farmer.
Will put in some random things I learned and thoughts I have about this video.

Daniel Salatin, of Polyface farms shows how one neighborhood could grow 3,000 pounds of animal protein (chicken and rabbit) out of a three car garage. Plus, 2 dozen eggs a day and enough compost for a half acre garden.

Looks like cows, pigs, chickens and rabbits are what they do here. It was interesting to see the drone footage to see where the cows were corraled the grass was so much greener.
Rabbits seem to be the best good tasting protein source and they are quiet and easy to control.

Not so sure Justin Rhodes' permaculture mantra about having your chickens till the soil and work for you and spread the mulch really is cost effective, cost in time and energy.
Seems like growing comfrey all around is a good thing to do for free high protein feed for rabbits and chickens. Don't know if comfrey can be cooked for human food but do know comfrey pills are some kind of health supplement.
I think those chickens, all of them hens I think in that garage, sure were noisy and the guy said they were "quiet." I wonder if there is any breed of hen chickens that are quieter than others.

In this expanded video with Joel S. we here a good sales pitch that certainly sounds good in theory.
