There is more than meets the eye to Trump in my opinion.

Generally, throughout history, something gets started in a certain direction, then when enough time passes, it eventually becomes the antithesis of what it was originally supposed to be. For example, Hitler wanted to preserve the German people, and he ended up being the one to kill many of them off. Or the public school system, it started off educating the nation, no matter of your status in society, and now it has become the vector for destroying minds. Or medical research, it began as a way to save lives, and ended up becoming a cartel which hurt lives and locked people on drugs which they become dependent on.

Trump on the other hand, is his own antithesis in many ways. His image is that of stupidity, yet is somehow smart. He surrounds himself with thin gold plating and spray on tan, and yet somehow seems to care about the country. It seems that if a movement eventually becomes its own antithesis over enough time, he is somehow using this principle to his advantage.

They are using this principle to their advantage as they do in all the examples you used. Trump is not a him, he's a they. Medical, Science, Law, Politics, Military. It's the same they using the same modus operandi. None of them are free operators. All of the choices are controlled.
