What are some recommendations for security and storage of nusmatics? I presume a fireproof safe or possibly several? Any specific recommendations by model and prices?
Thanks

A fireproof safe is a good idea, also consider hidden stealth safes (wall safes, under floor safes, etc.).

ok. I'll bite.
Some times thinking "outside the box" is worthwhile. Not to discount the box, but while a box can be attractive to some, ultimately it might not contain the anticipated pandora. If something was marked Loot, yet was found to be poor in actual Loot potential, you might feel a bit like a fool. De-loot-ional even.
Find out whats popular in payroll circles. I personally would think dials would be better than buttons but that's just me. I also think anchored is better but most safes are just made heavy. With enough time most things can be shifted. If they can be shifted then impenetrability becomes a shrinking time variable. There are some good Safe discussion forums out there as well. Lots of good input from professionals in the industry participate in those.
Would be interested in your expectations and findings, shortlist etc.

A fireproof safe is a good idea, also consider hidden stealth safes (wall safes, under floor safes, etc.). Old school flush toilets (5) gallon or so are also good. Find a small brick size waterproof box and sink it in the reservoir. Bet most if not all thieves will not think of looking, they are all into quick in grab, get the hell out of dodge soonest.
Think of the box as a very small boat and all your valuables sank with it in an accident..

You could go fishing together...... in a boat.
The people on this forum would have to be the most hapless sailors I've ever come across. I don't think there's a single one who hasn't had a boating accident of some kind.

I recommend storing all numismatics in your coin dealers' safe, after you exchange them for bullion.
