Gold bars - Need help with selling

I am new to this site. And also fairly new to gold and it's prospects. I wasn't even sure where to post this but I am hoping this is the best place to start.

Anyways...the reason I am here is because I have recently acquired some gold. About 24K (98% purity from the tests done) which are 2Kgs. Currently in form of bars right now (They were nuggets before that). The reason they're in the form of bars is due to logistic reason.

I have tried selling them locally. However every attempt has been met with theft attempts. And due to high corruption in the country (Kenya), the police can turn against you just to keep the gold. And the asking price from the proper/credible institutions that are available is ridiculously low, even after testing. They do this because they know how difficult it is to sell gold here as an individual. And many other reasons that has put me off selling it locally. So i have turned to selling it online or internationally. So I am looking for help in how to go about this or even buyers if I am lucky.

Any questions on anything i have missed out can be answered.

The people are failing to understand that, I have not come here to offer a "lucrative deal" or ask for a "wire transfer". I think they're just picking on the black guy because why not ? But they can feel free to do so.

There are places like craigslist. Called OLX. But I am a bit worried of getting myself into a dangerous position. That's what most people don't understand. A lot of people can get conned/robbed on this site.

Koch, you still didn't explain how you had the bar made? And you didn't have it assayed, as you told you would... This really reduces the credibility of your story. Having it assayed should be your first step in having it sold. What you are showing in those pictures could very well be just a gold plated copper or tungsten bar. As I told you in the PM, post a video of when you hit the bar with a hammer, that would confirm you are the legitimate owner of that gold bar, and the expertise at this forum could through analysis of the sound emitted, confirm whether this is a real gold bar.

You have to excuse us for our suspicion re your motives, everyone on this forum has received 100's of fake offers from Africa, and elsewhere. Can you get buyers for real ?
Gold has specific unique qualities, one is the sound, if you can make a video where you hit the bar with a hammer. I may from the sound be able to determine whether it is a solid gold bar. I am interested, but others on the forum may be interested as well so I suggest you post it there. I may not be the highest bidder you know!

You seem to be a reasonable person.

I am trying to get the assayed documents and prove that this gold is genuine. I had stated to you earlier. The problem is I am not a gold supplier, and this is my first time. I am also trying not incriminate myself as this gold wasn't exactly acquired 100% legally you know. That is why I want to make sure everything from the time i posted will not get me in any trouble.

I'm not trying to bullshit anybody. But I understand that I might have put up this post prematurely. I should have gotten all the documents first before doing anything. But I also wanted to find out which documents they are anyway. My friend is currently trying to help me get them. He's also the one who sent me the photos which I posted. I can't just go around walking with gold in Nairobi, it's very risky/dangerous doing that. So proving this takes time because my friend is currently holding the gold for me and sometimes can be having other commitments/jobs too. So I just have to wait.

The people in this forum seem to have already made their mind up. I am not lazy, and i am doing everything I can to prove the authenticity however I can't avoid the barriers. Even if i stated that, these guys would just think I'm "cooking up a story".
