stem cells are not embryonic, the vid says

if true, this is the end of dentistry for profit, the end of the root canal deception, etc

Root canal is a total scam.

The tech unfortunately hasn't really advanced since 2010. They've been able to grow teeth via adult stem cells for over 7 years now, and from what I can tell it's still not commercially viable and still have no news if it has gone through FDA safety trials.

Really unfortunate as it would be extremely beneficial.

Root canals can also cause heart disease. The toxins in a tooth can leak into the blood stream and cause inflammation in the arteries of the heart. Your body tries to put a patch over these inflammations with plaque leading to heart disease. The video below is by a coauthor of a book about this. I bought and read the book after having bypass surgery on my heart. I had a root canal removed shortly after reading the book. It's probably better to have an infected tooth pulled and then have an implant done.

I have had 4 or 5 root canals. I lost every one of the teeth anyway - twice before the root canal was complete. Once the dentist went too deep and cracked the tooth, another time the tooth broke with a temporary filling while waiting to be crowned. Even the successfully crowned teeth failed within a few years.

SOOO.. HOW DOES THE new information stop, or potentially stop, them from performing root canals?

SOOO.. HOW DOES THE new information stop, or potentially stop, them from performing root canals? Good question...I have 3 that are still in my head 40 and more like 50+ years later including the fillings and many of old fillings that are mercury based, humm?

Abscess tooth ether pull it or drill and drain it of the crap and then plug it. The abscess poisons can kill you, or plug the tooth with inert shit. which also keeps all the other teeth in place, because if it is pulled the other teeth will shift to try to fill the gap..Which is another shitty story which = bucks!

Choices , choices that mostly depends on spending less now or more later, tho there is a cure have them all pulled and go full artificial which is another mudball full of crap in some ways but still = bucks .

Best is to keep what you have and try to save the same, health wise.

Abscess can kill, screwed up root channels can potentially kill, even today there is risk on any option. Pull it and have your teeth shift and bite pattern change which can lead to other tooth problems.

You can remove the impacted tooth rather than trying to save it. Just grow a new one in its place.

dentistry is one of the ultimate scams out there.

last year my bridge had to be cemented back but the dentist said that I had some decay and that it needed some 'reconstruction' ..... he worked 15mins and charged me 500 dollars with the xray

Dentists are mostly profiteer driven to make up for looking and smelling some very nasty mouths.

Total unadulterated crap when it comes to regrowing a tooth.

People are not sharks , tho many act like them.

I had a cracked molar the dentist wanted to canal and cap. Told him I'll give it some time to heal hahaha... says it don't work like that. Took about a year but good as new.

sorry I am not into the denture style

i know a few people with no dental insurance who go to mexico, right after the border, once yearly and they save money big time. Like 40-70% depending on the job. I heard crowns are 60% cheaper.

I am looking into that option now

india is also even cheaper but that is far.

I have spoken with my dentist about tooth bud replacement via stem cells. It's a few years down the road, but it's coming, no matter what the ADA and the dentistry lobby want. Initially, it will be only for the rich, but the cost will continue to undermine "traditional dentistry" until it collapses.

A stop-gap measure, effective on a limited basis, is bioglass - artificial tooth in order to plug the microholes that cause sensitivity, pain, and become cavities.

You can get toothpaste with bioglass right now, either British Sensodyne (with Novamin) or Japanese Apagard (with Nanohydroxyapetite). You have to import them (available via eBay or amazon, but not cheap). They'll help if your damage isn't too far along.

I went with this after checking out this review as well

This toothpaste is truly a miracle! My teeth no longer hurt from hot or cold foods and drinks! I recommend this product to anyone with tooth pain or sensitivity. It actually rebuilds teeth. It was taken off the market in the US due to the American Dental Association being greedy and upset about a product that actually rebuilds your teeth over time. You would think they would be happy that people can use this to help themselves.....but, the western medical community is NOT working in our best interest...they are working in theirs!

nothing about CT who states the facts.... that is why money needs to go, because any cutting edge innovations are first marketed to the rich until the rich paradigm shifts into another area, and so on... this is monetary feudalism at its best. Because people follow the money, this is impossible to address. Like I have said, the flaw is embedded in the premise and always ends up gobbling up the slighted act of goodness. We have 4000 years of monetary history documenting this.

So here is the choice: competitive feudalism or decentralized voluntaryism.

Initially, it will be only for the rich, but the cost will continue to undermine "traditional dentistry" until it collapses.

I have been using the coconut oil for a few days ( I have alot because the wife cooks with it)

I had bleeding gums pretty bad (trying to floss is a nightmare) I also have discoloration of my gumline since I was a child

the results have been quite impressive

My bleeding has stopped IMMEDIATELY and hasn't been back since

I have patches of pink returning to the dark areas ever so slowly ( that is pretty shocking for me)

Now mind you I literally keep a vat of inside of my car and i do it several times a day but at the minimum twice.
