A restaurant in the famous New York Chinatown was visited this morning by the NYPD and federal agents, after an investigation showed the owners regularly killed dogs they found in the neighborhood and served them to customers.

Agents of both the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) and the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) accompanied the police officers who searched “White Lotus Royal Buffet“, looking for dog meat.

Large quantities of dog meat were found on the site and taken to a forensic lab to be analyzed.

According to the NYPD spokesman, Captain Fred Jameson, the owner of the restaurant, Tengdo Hueng, admitted snatching dogs from the area with his 16-year old son and killing them for meat.

“We have found the remains of at least six different dogs, and three of them correspond to dogs that were reported stolen over the last two weeks.”

According to the Humane Society of New York, more than 150 dogs have disappeared within a 1-mile radius of the restaurant in 2016, and almost 100 in the first months of 2017.

According to police, the accused and his son hunted dogs with nets, lassos and crude spears, and could have killed hundreds of dogs.

The NYPD believes the restaurant owner has been killing and cooking abandoned animals for years, but had to begin snatching dogs directly from their owners’ backyards when his business expanded.

Despite this large quantity of missing animals, the police has only been able to charge Mr Hueng with the killing of 11 animals.

He now faces a total of 47 criminal charges and a maximum of 95 years in prison. He should appear in court in June.

I agree 100%. Some of the older women I know chose dogs instead of children, and it's really sad to see. They hold fundraisers for dog charities and are obsessed with "rescuing" dogs. It's a mental illness for sure.

Striving to implement the 1994 Adoption Pact, which made San Francisco at least nominally the first U.S. "no kill" city, the San Francisco SPCA introduced free sterilization of pit bulls. When that did not stop the rising influx, the SF/SPCA in 1996 renamed pit bulls "St. Francis terriers," in hopes that changing their image would make them more adoptable. More were adopted--but the original "St. Francis terrier" program was suspended within 60 days, as was a similar program introduced by the Wisconsin Humane Society, when several of the strenuously screened and rehomed dogs turned out to be cat-killers.

I live in a nice quiet neighborhood and my neighbors had a run in with a neighbor a few blocks down who were taking care of a family or friend's pitbull. They were walking their baby and dog when this pitbull charges them out of nowhere and comes after their dog, goes for the chest and bites him on his harness and holds on. Well the dad (a pretty big guy) starts kicking the pitbull as hard as he can, the dog goes after him and bites him a couple times on the leg. Then the homeowner comes out and manages to restrain the dog and bring it back inside. The whole incident was so unexpected because none of our neighbors have pitbulls.

That's easy, pull out your lawfully carried firearm and put two rounds into the pit bull's head to stop the threat. If you don't have one you may want to consider it.
