vlogger A Call For An Uprising (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCp5x5kxCgg_A220jNIsLyfA/videos); as usual with him, the signal-to-rant ratio is poor. As a general rule the latter ~half+ of his vids are all rant, so listen or not accordingly. The main news/info payload is in the first few mins. & begin at 0:35 to skip his boilerplate opening schtick. :)

It was terribly dangerous to let your thoughts wander when you were in any public place or within range of a telescreen. The smallest thing could give you away. A nervous tic, an unconscious look of anxiety, a habit of muttering to yourself -- anything that carried with it the suggestion of abnormality, of having something to hide. In any case, to wear an improper expression on your face (to look incredulous when a victory was announced, for example) was itself a punishable offence. There was even a word for it in Newspeak: facecrime, it was called.

Oh, and besides the fact I don't use Fagbook or other "social media" telescreen apps, they can't surreptitiously monitor my face, either: I have an aluminum foil "dot" over my laptop camera lens, and a piece of 3M electrical tape over the camera on my phone. Sure, they can track me when I go to Wal-Mart or the Post Office, but no photos of my face.

sounds like you did the laptop cam right- assuming some tape over the aluminum dot, right?

just to remind peeps, if you want to tape over your cam, don't just do a solo piece of opaque tape, like masking or electrical or duct tape. It's smart to have a small piece of something opaque & "not sticky" over the lens itself; then a larger piece of whatever tape over that, holding it in place. Why? When the occasion arises when you would like/need to actually USE the cam, esp on quick notice, when you peel the tape off the cam, you don't want the lens obscured with tape glue! That shite needs a damp cloth and scrubbing to remove!

I know DL's are biometric, coz the DMV takes the photos, and they're quite persnickety about having you "look at the dot" when they snap the pic. I recall ~11 years ago, I got a new license in Boulder, and it took like 4-5 retakes... I'd look at the dot as instructed, snap, and she'd say "no, didn't work... look at the dot please..." (repeat x4). The final DL photo had me looking like some coke-addled nut job, with my eyes all bug out wide, coz I was staring at that DOT, REALLY HARD! :o Ironically, prolly F'd up the 'biometric' aspect, coz I don't walk around looking like that!

Bigger concern wrt passports is they all have RFID "spy chips" in them now. Good reason to have an EMF pouch for your PP when you travel. My phone's EMF pouch is also big enough to accommodate the PP as well. :) But the smaller phone EMF pouches won't, so you'll want to pick one up before traveling... or you can fashion your own; all you're looking for is having the PP surrounded by aluminum foil, however you do that.

I don't have a passport, don't go to shitties, and live in a rural area where cameras in open public places can still be counted on my hands (mostly on the highways). Upgrading the cameras in stores I must visit to be capable of facecrime detection will be an expensive endeavor.

Yes on tape over the dot. Only the best: 3M Magic tape, and, 3M Super 33+ electrical tape for the phone. Lower-quality tapes will leave residue, as you warn.

Happy to say I can't be tracked, except by helicopter.

Everybody knows where you work and where you live,

So they can kill you anytime... but on the road I'm free.

Fact: drug possession and use for personal reasons - medical OR recreational - was legal in the Third Reich.

Fact: drug possession and use for personal reasons leads to being put in a Federal concentration camp for decades in Trump's America.

Jeff Session is a vile person, every bit as dangerous as most of Western Civilization's opponents Hitler faced. Fortunately, the little faggot doesn't have anywhere near the resources.

Researchers reveal how the Google Camera app could be used to spy on Android users

SOPA Images/LightRocket via Getty ImagesThe security research team at Checkmarx has made something of a habit of uncovering alarming vulnerabilities, with past disclosures covering Amazon’s Alexa and Tinder. However, a discovery of vulnerabilities affecting Google and Samsung smartphones, with the potential to impact hundreds of millions of Android users, is the biggest to date. What did the researchers discover? Oh, only a way for an attacker to take control of smartphone camera apps and remotely take photos, record video, spy on your conversations by recording them as you lift the phone to your ear, identify your location, and more. All of this performed silently, in the background, with the user none the wiser.
