here is another example of 'for the love of money" , as bluefiun tuna population goes down, it becomes more expensive and more people want to hunt it for big bucks. Demand and supply... right?
But rest assured sea krill which feeds LOTS of species is now becoming a PRICELESS delicatesse, I heard in another video as I am continuing my investigation into the monetizetion of Life, which knows no bounds.
if you do not see the archonic aberration here while 50% of the world food production is wasted, i DO
This thread will demonstrate the stupidity of humans

New Study Says 100 Million Sharks Killed Annually ... for their fins mainly... yep, the sky is the limit!! And guess what: female sharks dont reproduce before 10 years of age or more and the pregnancy is as long as that of dolphins... at this space sharks will just become another endangered species. On a more positive note we may assume that the rest of the shark is sold as "tuna fish for cats"
in another lecture that I am watching the guy says that climate change is often pointed as a culprit endangering coral reefs but as a matter of fact it is overfishing around and inside the reefs that is the real cause.
I am hearing about the next multi billion scam: Krill-omega3, sure "got milk" is no longer working that well anymore (krill is not yet endangered)

"some people" think we can fish as much yearly without any consequence... money made me do it
Diet is FAR MORE Than "Personal Choice"
=========================
The Alaska Pollock has been said to be “the largest remaining source of palatable fish in the world. More than 3 million tons of Alaska Pollock are caught each year in the North Pacific from Alaska to northern Japan. Alaska Pollock catches from U.S. fisheries have been quite consistent at about 1.5 million tons a year, almost all of it from the Bering Sea. Information on the current stock status for Alaska ground fish is updated annually whereas the specific 2007 Pollock assessment is also available. The Alaska Pollock landings are the largest of any single fish species in the U.S. However, in each of the last three years, the pollock population has declined; in 2008, it fell 38 percent and scientists now believe that the 2008 Pollock catch will be the lowest in 30 years.

WOW... an eye opener... Some 500 million pounds of marine life are wasted in this way in the North Pacific every year for the sake of pollock fishing.

fish farms have the same problems as factory farms, the use of antibiotics is widespread, china is the biggest exporter of farm raised fish... aint it scary?
we not only are destroying marine life but poisoning ourselves

up to 40 km long fishing nets also catching fish that is not targeted, The industrial fishing waste or bycatch is beyoooond belief. Many documentaries about the problem use the latter to mention global warming but the educated mind can see clearly what is going on, and that "bottom trawling", the most harmful fishing technique damaging ocean beds, has nothing to do with climate change.
In another doc, a 1ton+ bluefin tuna is worth $10-15K.... hello!!! Wonder how many are going into debts for this?
solution: eat meat/fish twice a week, we do not need more anyway, it is all about education... have a *balanced* diet. But as long as "market forces" dominate, nothing can be done. Just like the drug war, meat and fish are pushed down our throats, so the industry can profit as if there are no tomorrows. Unlike animals, man must learn to eat with his mind... Mentalism is the 1st Natural Law. Animals dont destroy their environment because they cannot speculate. Man must learn that the zero-sum game economics is the only way to ensure his survival.
additionally many fish breed around the shore lines, but industrial fishing in deep see is an obstacle as we can guess, not to mention that it harms local fishermen.
the big problem is that many docs tackle "sustainable fishing" but it is all about SELF-control at the consumer level. Asking for more regulations is bunk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwYwdqv7A7s
I have spent my weekend probing the whole topic, mind blowing. really. The delusion of profits. Are you eating dolphins sold as tuna cans?
global multi-billion pound fisheries get $26bn subsidies yearly (aka taxpayers)

it is the regulations stupid: fishing boats cannot keep the fish for which they have no quota, and since the waste is huuuuge, it is all going back into the ocean DEAD. And if it is the targeted species, it must have a certain size (too small too young) or it gets wasted too. Then we have the fisheries discarding (dead) fish that is not big enough, hence not lucrative ... overfishing... discarding... overfishing... discarding... until there is no fish left?
and then we have the scientists asserting that the quotas and their studies arent matching. Fishing lobbies will do everything to overturn any study suggesting that quotas must be lowered down
interesting doc highlighting absurd policies... and follows big money.... another too big to fail scheme. Only a drastic action at the consumer level will work. And this is largely caused by technology and the profit making mentality, fiat money is only the instrument, the tool, to achieve this. Only the Mind can control the zero-sum game. Money alone... well we see the results!
as above (on earth) so below (in the ocean) proven an absolute truth. We are killing the ecosystem and committing suicide. 2nd half about fish farms... medication for fish is highly controlled. Yeah... and farm waste isnt regulated much either.

Data Reveals Farmed Salmon To Be One Of The Most Toxic Foods In The World
Posted on July 3, 2017
Aquaculture is often celebrated as a sustainable solution to overfishing, but in reality, farmed salmon may be one of the most toxic foods in the world. As a result of overcrowding, disease, pollution and low-quality fishmeal, the resulting salmon meat is often contaminated and can lack the valuable nutrients of wild-caught salmon.
Worldwide, due to growing awareness of the environmental and health impacts of red meat, people have begun to favour white meat and fish. As a result, the aquaculture industry is suffering from the growing pains of high demand, and subsequently has been accused of procedures seriously compromising fishmeat quality.
One of the biggest threats facing fisheries today is the alarming epidemic of parasitic sea lice. Lice attach to fish and drain their blood. Just a few lice are capable of killing a full grown salmon, and unless the carcass is removed, it will decompose and subsequently contaminate live fish. Often, sea lice propagated in crowded, open-net fisheries spread to infect and kill wild salmon.’ ..................
he Global Alliance Against Industrial Aquaculture, reported the major fish producing countries Scotland, Canada, Chile, New Zealand and Australia are killing thousands of seals in order to produce fishmeal. Analyses from Scotland revealed “significant welfare concerns”, including that one-third of the seals studied sent to slaughter were pregnant. The U.S. has threatened to stop trading salmon with countries that practice the slaughter of marine mammals.
Another concern stemming from questionable fishmeal is whether salmon meat is artificially dyed to be pink. Salmon are pink because of astaxanthin, a pigment found in krill and other crustaceans. But not only does astaxanthin give the fish a pink tint, it’s a valuable source of nutrients. In the place of feeding farmed salmon with costly crustaceans, most fisheries feed fish a synthetic version of asthaxathin in order to give the fish a natural colour. .......... more

According to a recent study, up to 81 drugs and personal-care products were detected in the flesh of salmon caught in the Puget Sound. Some of the drugs include Prozac, Advil, Benadryl, Lipitor, and even cocaine. The Seattle Times reports that the levels are believed to be so high because either people in the area use more of the drugs detected, or because waste water plants are unable to fully remove the chemicals during treatment. Another theory is that leaky septic tanks are contributing to the problem, as high fecal coliform counts were detected.

‘In Yulin, Guangxi, China, thousands of dogs are being tortured and killed to be sold as food at the world’s largest dog meat festival, taking place this week. The annual event has received widespread criticism in recent years but has been difficult to shut down.
One of the reasons the Yulin Lychee and Dog Meat Festival continues is cultural relativism. After all, Westerners eat cows, which are sacred in Indian culture. In the United States, for example, cows and other livestock are subject to inhumane conditions that shock and terrify the animals, just like the dogs who suffer in China and in other countries throughout Asia. However, the torture inflicted on dogs at festivals like these is intentional and believed to bring quality to the resulting flesh due to the release of the animals’ stress hormones.’

The Chinese are completely devoid of mercy. Very despicable.
It wouldn't be so repulsive that they eat cat and dog if they didn't inflict unnecessary pain and suffering on them. This is what mass murderers do because they are mentally defective and evil. Hence, we can conclude that the vast majority of Chinese are mentally defective and evil. They lack the Holy Spirit. Perhaps someday they will accept Christ on a mass scale and learn to be merciful and loving.

It's mostly the Chinese and 3rd worlders that are overfishing and overbreeding and destroying future resources.
But yes, many other problems are the result of out of control international corporations.

Thai Union Group is a facade wrapping around God knows what.
Shareholdings details reveal Jew York and "European" banks and Jap conglomerate Mitsubishi holding substantial percentages (there are over 10,000 individual shareholders).
I don't have time to tie it all together and lay it out here, but Thai Union is just another instrument of the World's Foremost Problem and their allies. Set up in Thailand since it is a nexus for slave labor in maritime industries.

US trade deal after Brexit could see milk and baby formula with cancer-causing toxins flood UK market
7 August 2017 GMT
A post-Brexit trade deal with the US could see a massive increase in the amount of cancer-causing toxins in British milk and baby food, The Independent can reveal.
American regulations allow more than 20 times the quantity of harmful aflatoxins in food products, compared to the stricter regime imposed by the European Union.
US standards also allow products made with nuts and cereals to have higher levels of the carcinogens, which cause damage to DNA and make cells more prone to becoming cancerous.
While a direct link to liver cancer is widely accepted, the lower US standards allow American manufacturers to produce food more cheaply.
Critics are now warning that ministers pursuing a quick trade deal with Washington would be putting GDP growth ahead of public health if safety standards are weakened.’
