Didn't watch the 23 min OP, but off hand I can guess it's mostly the (ill-gotten)-rich chinks buying everything up and driving prices out of reach for most. Did the same in Oz/NZ, Vancouver, contributing factor in SF Bay prices.

currently watching second half: medicare and medicaid taking a beating, some of the homeless cost almost 1 million a year to hospital emergencies

but doc says that 1/3 of homeless are hawaiian natives

the left may be blamed sure but the real estate/property boom too, as usual it is a combination of both, the right and the left ideologies
