This is Mikoyan's first 5th or 6th generation fighter. Won't be in production until the mid-2020s. The Mig-35s that are coming out next year are 4++ generation fighters lacking stealth and perhaps the super maneuverability of Sukhoi 34, SU-35 and the 5th generation SU-57. The Mig35s are comparable to the Super Hornets.

the 5th generation SU-37.
They recently designated the PAK FA/T-50 the Su-57.
The Mig35s are comparable to the Super Hornets.
Not really, the MiG-35 has differentially operating 3D thrust vector control, the Super Hornets do not even have 2D TVC.

Thanks for the correction.

Would that give it super-maneuverability like the latest Sukhoi in production or are other requirements needed?

The prototype MiG-29M with 3D TVC (Bort 156) directly comparable to the Su-35 with 3D TVC. They rolled an operational MiG-29M into the hangar and merely installed new 3D TVC engines, that's all. This particular MiG-29M was a test bed and is what the MiG-35 was developed from. At 5:05 in this video you can see it flown momentarily at ~165 degrees angle of attack, which is essentially flying ass first -

So how does that engine work in low O2?

Good question, I don't know what operational ceiling they are aiming for. I do know that the MiG-25 holds the altitude record of 123,520 ft.
