Ex Google CEO Eric Schmidt (and friends) don't seem that much smarter than a typical MSNBC fake news segment pundit panel.
Eric Schmidt seems convinced AI will be killing people.

...The panel of healthcare professional evaluators preferred ChatGPT responses to physician responses 79% of the time.

"ChatGPT messages responded with nuanced and accurate information that often addressed more aspects of the patient's questions than physician responses," said Jessica Kelley, a nurse practitioner with San Diego firm Human Longevity and study co-author.

Additionally, ChatGPT responses were rated significantly higher in quality than physician responses: good or very good quality responses were 3.6 times higher for ChatGPT than physicians (physicians 22.1% versus ChatGPT 78.5%). The responses were also more empathic: empathetic or very empathetic responses were 9.8 times higher for ChatGPT than for physicians (physicians 4.6% versus ChatGPT 45.1%).

My observations after seeing others interacting with ChatGPT and similar programs:

Probably about 10% of the population could do as good a job getting facts and concepts correct given more time to do the research.

What the computers have that these more rational humans do not have at this time is good will. Both in that the computers are better at (mimicking) empathic and/or sensing responses than the more logical and/or rational but perhaps less emotive human intellectual 'spergs', and that the public in general has not been conditioned by predatory western rulers to reject computer logic and rationality as they have say the same males and the not machine like.

Thus the main advantage of computer artificial intelligence has over a significant rational population is not logical intelligence but emotional intelligence.

Say (guessing) 10% or so of the population could do as good a job providing knowledge and facts as these programs, but even more importantly the computers are better at mimicking the empathy to have this rationality accepted by the other 90% (as the AI Doctor study results indicate) and furthermore this other 90% has not (yet) been preconditioned to reject logic and rationality from this source (machines).

To conclude, computer AI's displays of empathy and goodwill are perhaps the more important AI output (for the average human customer) than computer AI's rationality and logic?

Edit to add: Unlike intelligent truthful males, computers are still allowed to be 'approved sources' by the 'official authorities.' Furthermore, individual humans can be good at providing either steak or sizzle, the machine can provide one and mimic the other.
