This was in response to the Lindt cafe siege in Sydney a few years back. Short version: Mentally unstable Islamic dude who was noted by authorities (of course) for his behavior takes a bunch of yuppies hostage. State police make a complete farce out of the standoff, a few die at hands of police when they storm cafe. Loads of false claims are and a royal commission is held in which one of the findings is to engage military in these circumstances, voila! Problem - reaction - solution.

It was basically a mental health issue blown out of proportions, but don't let that get in the way of some serious boots smashing faces.

^ AFAIK Oz vlogger Peekay Truth was the leader in debunking that whole Sydney cafe event as an FF, ala Port Arthur.
