A substitute teacher at a Littleton public school in Littleton, MA knelt during the Pledge of Allegiance on Thursday in front of her students and spoke about her political views.
CBS Boston:
Russell Street School Principal Scott Bazydlo said in a letter to parents that the unidentified substitute teacher took a knee and spoke to students about her political views.
The principal of a Littleton school said a substitute teacher had good intentions, but should not have taken a knee while her class recited the Pledge of Allegiance on Thursday.
The principal actually stood up for the teacher and said it is “imperative” to provide students with all sides of an issue to allow them to “form opinions with guidance from parents.”

Why? Why should anyone stand and pledge allegiance to the corporations war flag?

Taking a pledge of allegiance on your knees, isn't that what people who are knighted as vassals by the monarch does?

Yes;
http://m.lordsandladies.org/order-of-knighthood-ceremony.htm
The Oath of Knighthood was an expression of such sincerity that it was backed up by the threat of divine retribution should the uttering prove false. Anyone who broke the Oath Knighthood would be seen as to have committed a crime against God which would lead to eternal damnation. The Knight swore an oath of allegiance to the lord and swore the following vows and oaths:
Never traffic with traitors
Never give evil counsel to a lady, whether married or not; he must treat her with great respect and defend her against all
To observe fasts and abstinences, and every day hear Mass and make an offering in Church

Essentially you are giving up your life to serve your lord, kneeling while doing that shows that you are clearly subservient.
All this kneeling is nothing but neo-feudalism. LOL!

What's also ironic is that acts of kneeling used to be deemed submission and not "protests."
