In our highly interdependent system in the West more than 80 percent of the population has been domesticated and is psychologically incapable of self-reliance.

Actually, i thought this figure would be higher.

You mean more than 'more than 80%'? ;D

Yes, I think it is way more than 80%. You need an IQ of over 120 to be able to think an original thought, which would be the minimal requirement for psychological independence. Looking at IQ distribution curves, you'll have approximately 20% at or above 120 IQ in white or north Asian societies, but there are plenty of those with high IQ's that are domesticated, that have decided it is not in their interest to think original thoughts questioning authorities, but I suppose these people have the potential to live a non-domesticated life. As it is I think it is at the most just a few % that are able to break free from their mental chains and somewhat properly evaluate the reality and draw independent conclusions...
