so for the last week i've been trying to get repairs done to my property (hurricane harvey damage) - but water level is HIGH
the entire time we've been running about 3 feet above normal sea level. there is no obvious explanation. the computer models that predict our water levels have completely missed it (and the misses are still going....)
wtf? anyone have a guess why? i'm on galveston bay near houston....same place for over 20 years - so i've been watching this water level and what influences it for decades. never seen anything like what i'm seeing now -
hurricane maybe? - this started when latest hurricane was way down in central america area....and still the same as i type this and hurricane is long gone. hurricane explanation is out
anyone guesses or related info appreciated
