I deleted the spam posts, but yeah whoever they are, they spammed the mining forum pretty hard earlier. I banned the bots and deleted the posts.

Yeah, I think I'll bring it up with JQP to implement a CAPCHA method so that registration is not able to be automated.

There is a simple CAPCHA, but I guess it is easy to defeat. Before I had gold/solver based questions to register, but it was too difficult for many.

Have you considered reCAPTCHA?
